I totally got Merlin sitting in the hallway. Monarchy stays in the past but the wizard moved on. Arthur’s going to be so exasperated with his man[servant] when he’s back. I would so watch that too.
I need to see Colin Morgan in bigger projects like these, even if he's not the protagonist (although that would be an absolute treat) because it's such a joy to watch any of his characters. the subtlest hints in his acting like the little smirk and the twitch of his brow when he's watching the interview in the beginning down to the surprise in his eyes when he asks, "A mental asylum?" He's a great actor and I love rewatching any project he has been in but he's still so underrated, kinda remind me of Eddie Redmayne and Andrew Garfield before their bouts of recognition and fame. Colin definitely deserves more chances to shine.
So Merlin got bored waiting around for Arthur's lazy arse. So he decided to make bank on doing what he does best. Mocking, sassing, and humbling royals. 😂
I know in reality this whole story of princess Alice was only uncovered after her death but this was such a nice way to make an episode tribute to her.
Watching the Crown with a friend and suddenly seeing Colin Morgan pop up, it was very hard to explain my sudden complete delight, excitement, bafflement and joy and just wishing for one more word out of his mouth every second. 😅 The Merlin fandom never dies and Colin Morgan is just SO good, truly one of a kind at acting. ❤
Me while first watching: "This actor looks familiar..." A moment later: "Oh my gosh! It's Merlin!" (proceeds to blush insanely remembering childhood crush 😳)
Colin has a new movie, Belfast, that will be in theaters in November. It takes place during The Troubles (1969-1999). He was born in Armagh, NI in 1986. It is expected to win awards. He plays a role as we have never seen him. All music is from Irishman Van Morrison. The movie includes Jamie Dornan and Conor MacNeill from The Fall. It also stars Ciaran Hinds whom Colin starred with in a play in 2018 called Translations. That story took place in the 19th century and also dealt with NI v Irish Republic problems. Colin was nominated for Best Actor.
Be prepared. He is The Villain!!! Only on the screen for about 6 minutes but his part is crucial. He’s come a long way from Merlin. Shows how very talented an actor he is.
It is fascinating to watch the cynical Armstrong becoming more and more absorbed in Princess Alice's story, finding something far deeper than the hit-piece he was looking forward to writing, until he ends up writing what Philip would later call "a love letter".
I only started watching with my parents when Diana came on but now that I know Colin is in this (since I love Merlin BBC) I'm SO MAD I didn't watch the other seasons with them😭
A Burn if ever I saw one! 😂 🤣 And nothing more refreshing than coming from an Ulsterman from Northern Ireland, who probably lived the reality of the oppression inflicted by the British government in the name of the Crown. Whether your a Monarchist or a Republican, there’s no denying that both sides in the NI conflict has suffered some kind of trauma.
Me: *Watching the show with my family*..."Wait why does that character look so familiar?" *Keeps thinking..then realizes* Me: "Oh my god it's MERLIN!!" Family: "SHUT UP!" 😂😂
I've never heard of this movie. I saw Merlin and Benjamin. This doesn't seem like his type of movie. He is a very talented actor but I'm not fond of this.
Looks like Merlin didn’t fancy the monarchy after Arthur died
All the homosexual tension died out
Well, he knows very well who is the real Once and Future king :D
@U.R. you obviously haven't seen Merlin so you don't have to interact with the comments smh

Funny thing is, an article like that about the Royals in the time of Uther would have probably have had him executed.
He needs to be protagonist again he's such a underrated actor
agreeed!
Agreed!
plot twist: this is actually merlin, he got bored while waiting for arthur
hearing his irish accent in actual performances is so surprising and amazing every time

привет он вроде гей ? у него есть фильмы. где он девушка , бенджамин )))
So Merlin got bored waiting around for Arthur's lazy arse. So he decided to make bank on doing what he does best. Mocking, sassing, and humbling royals. 😂
only fair 😂
And what’s better he do not end up being sentenced to Fruit throw target 😂😂😂😂
Waiting around for Arthur's Fine, meaty haunches you mean!
He was always talented at dragging royals for filth
“Oh I thought so but apparently others didn’t as I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and sent to a mental asylum.” 😂 I’m dead
I know in reality this whole story of princess Alice was only uncovered after her death but this was such a nice way to make an episode tribute to her.
To be fair he’s the whole package the blue eyes the body and what sells me is that Irish accent 🇮🇪☘️
northern irish*
"But I'm ancient! We could be here a long time!" Best line!
Girrrrl, so is Merlin. He’s got nothing but time. ;-D
Such a good actor.

Genius career move, wonderful Colin😂 Always the rebel.. Magnificent acting as usual. So refreshing to see the versatility in him.

The nickname hot journalist perfectly suits him. Don't you think?

Colin Morgan was amazing in this role! I would say that this is some of the best acting he's ever done!
A remarkable actor.

Be prepared. He is The Villain!!! Only on the screen for about 6 minutes but his part is crucial. He’s come a long way from Merlin. Shows how very talented an actor he is.
I loved Jamie Dornan's acting in A Private War.
How i didnt know that he starred here?! He's brilliant
He didn't. This was after Merlin.
The pace started to get quicker after 5:24. A good journalist never let go any opportunities.
someone put this man in a romcom please

Benjamin 2018. Absolutely fantastic. My favorite RomCom.
He is currently in Mammals, which is a drama with romcom i think?

'Treated by Sigmund Freud' - love that ! ❤️
"He was not a kind man..."
And it is all true! Princess Alice was a truly amazing woman. She is very well portrayed in the Crown, too!

I missed himm🔥🔥🔥
Also Collins Irish accent is 😘👌👌
But I'm ancient...we could be here for a long time 🤌😂
I'm just imagining him as actually Merlin here and picturing then talking about the old days. 😂
Yes, we get it. Colin Morgan is hot.
A Burn if ever I saw one! 😂 🤣 And nothing more refreshing than coming from an Ulsterman from Northern Ireland, who probably lived the reality of the oppression inflicted by the British government in the name of the Crown. Moments when Morgan is rather on the side of Ham; shown up by his marvellously adroit fellow actor, Jane Lapotaire.
6:21 his sharpener has two compartments 🤯

We miss merlin!
Yeah me too
i think im in love with colin morgan
Lo amo, su versatilidad y talento. Su acento y ya dije talento? jaja y su sonrisa es hilarante.

Anyone Please?
does anyone know the name of this soundtrack?
I would like to have read his Muhammad Ali article
He looks older.
That’s because he is, lol. He was 22 when Merlin started, he’s 35 now.
@@Melissa.Garrett I guess it’s just hard to believe how much time has passed and it shows. :/
Did he get some work done on his ears? They look different than they did when he was in Merlin.
I think it’s the hairstyle
yes he did
I think that's the Colin Morgan affect. His face drastically changes with every hairstyle change and new wardrobe.

JOURNALISTS = NOT KNOWING MUCH BUT A BIG MOUTH !
I've never heard of this movie. I saw Merlin and Benjamin. This doesn't seem like his type of movie. He is a very talented actor but I'm not fond of this.
This is why I will always hate journalism...
