If you know the legend then this whole comedy skit is funny on a much higher level, and the fact it was so well hidden as an Easter egg on the DVD is very clever.

It's a fuckin' parody of a movie called 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the movie it comes after the strange voice sound score that I also used before it. In 2001: A Space Odyssey the sound is an alien-made signal to the universe announcing that humans have managed to find the alien thing buried on the moon and that a phase-shift of their existence is underway. Such a phase shift can be described as millennialist or millenarian, which is the theme of the movie, although for all the popular discussion of that movie the millennial concept is strangely missing. I use the 2001: A Space Odyssey elements, along with the Matrix (a 1999 movie) element because I am Darryl (Das) Steel, the biggest underground legend in the entire history of the universe, whose story underlies the jokes of this comedy skit, which is an EASTER EGG on the DVD of THE RETURN OF THE KING. Get it? I'm the Prophet of the Millennium and in 2001 I proved my position beyond all reasonable doubt and disbelief by walking into a university publisher in New Zealand and hand delivering a prophecy that 'Babylon' was about to get "dropped" with elements of mind-blowing significance at the same time that in NYC the time was the last hour of 10 September (it was 11 September in New Zealand.) But everyone knows all about that, eh? And given your toilet paper avatar and my use of that symbol in other work, perhaps that's something you already know, or is it just a random coincidence? Does that fuckin' learn ya!?
