Starting by simply filming lifts, and now, climbing cranes... You are awesome Beno ! You show people things that others can't see ! I would have never climbed such a high crane !

That is high up aren't you afraid of heights? I've been on building sites for my work but I get afraid of heights on ladders and shaky scaffolding. That's a massive building site, it must be well protected. I increasingly start seeing CCTV monitoring appearing on small building sites. In Amsterdam they even have security guards on building sites at night. But it won't stop grafitty artists.... 20 years ago when I was 12 to 13 years old building sites of housing projects did not even have fences around them, at the time you could walk around in buildings with no problem. All those different construction methodes intrigued me. That's where my love for building engineering started.

I am not afraid of heights. The ladders going up the crane were dodgy and that scared me. Some of them didn't seem properly fixed. The ladder going up the top part and was 2 ladders. The last rung of the lower one had a lot of movement in it. That was terrifying. I didn't think there was any security here, turns out there was, as there is a security hut. There was no cameras or anything. All the ways in were locked. We got in by surfing a lift from a shop at the bottom of the site.

I'm surprised you were able to access the crane that easily, in addition have the controls not locked out!

That look, really fun but I'd be a bit scared to climb those ladders!

  • @efanthomastransportelevati3383

How scared are you Ben cause it would be scared for me cause I don't like heights.

London plus writing quickly from Monday 36th to Wednesday 39th occasionally (nocturnal wings, origin unknown). You must decide to let everyone go outside the boardroom & have a decaf coffee as it is late & the escalator will be switched off from 36th to 39th because it is a holiday & the shop is closed.
That is an extremely long, extremely cryptic crossword clue.

I don't know why big youtubers like Ally Law don't drive cranes. Driving them is the best bit.

  • @ElevationStationProductions

I wish I had the guts to do that, but I don't.

    Oh Gosh
    I have to admit
    I am scared of Heights
    20 storeys is ok
    But higher Maybe not
    I have to walk slowly
I went to this 33 storey building
It had a opened window at the stairs
But when I use it I walk slowly
Unless if I don't really see what is outside then not really
BUT I WONT EVEN DARE TI CLIMB A CRANE NONONONO

LPT: Make a fake construction worker uniform and act as you live there. Way safer than sneaking your way in.

    • @benolifts
      @benolifts  Před 6 lety

No, wearing a fake uniform is far more risky. Anyone that is in charge of the site would know that you are not meant to be there. If you get caught it will be much worse as they will use the fact you were wearing uniform to say that you were up to no good.

@@benolifts I wasn't being serious but I don't blame you for not catching my sarcasm. Also nice seeing your reply.
