I have the same issue. Some ebay crook sold me a xv5080 and mentioned nothing about the unit being faulty. Do you know where I can buy the component to fix this rack synth. I have a feeling the cheating seller will try to make it my problem..

Ciao. Con tutto il lavoro che hai fatto mi dispiace tantissimo che il problema si ripresenti!!!!! Non sono un professionista ma a questo punto credo che sia un problema all' adattatore di corrente. Ma non sono sicuro al 100%!! Questo XV-5080 ha una montagna di problemi!!!!! Peccato.

I have an XV-3080 with a similar problem, but the noise is less intense and only when playing at higher level. Do you think it’s the same repair?
