- The updated Navigator is here for 2022 and Lincoln has made some big changes. On the outside you will immediately notice an all new grill, headlights, front fascia and wheels. On the inside there are HUGE changes with the infotainment system, and amenities. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 pumping out 450HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the NEW 2022 Lincoln Navigator the KING of full size luxury SUVs?

"After a hard day at work you can touch the wood" lol haha I laughed even if it wasn't intentional.
Heâs made the same comment many many times. Clearly intentional.
@@mavfan1 i just wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Lol
probably in the weekend you won't feel the wood quality đ€Ł
I came here for this commentâŠI mean, noâŠ
Omg đđđđđ
I remember back in the day when the escalade and navigator were just tahoe/suburban and expedition with a different grill and minimal, if any interior differences. Now they are only similar from the side profile. Interiors are worlds nicer than the vehicles they are based on. They've both really come a long way!
@@keytothegate68 the interiors are drastically different now and nowhere near similar. Before they used to be identical inside except the numbers on the gauges were different. Still I would never consider one. From the side you cant tell the difference other than the wheels and fake fender vent.
true story. now these vehicles are true luxury versions
About time
@@Hannibalmiles8494 I agree, get the Denali.
Lincoln has really upped their game in luxury, materials, and as a brand. When I think about it this navigator is americas Range Rover
Especially on the interior!
They only bought Land Rover back in the day so they could poach the designers for their own brands when they sold them. Very smart and forward thinking
They have, but it isn't growing the brand. Their sales have been stagnant at 100-120K a year for many years now. They need a stunning EV, both a car and a SUV to really move the game onward. They have the right concept of luxury, American luxury not trying to be German, and it works, but they need more than just 4 SUVs if they're trying to grow their customer base and market share. I feel like the Continental should have been given another try on their RWD platform under the Aviator.
@@MercOne I agree with you. They butchered the continental with fwd. I feel Americans donât associate Lincoln with luxury anymore. Their last few years have largely been forgettable. Plus the name Lincoln seems very 70âs to someone under 40. But I feel having a woman in charge can really change their projectile. They just need to push the boundaries further. Maybe a sub brand? I like what Volvo is doing with Polestar
@@kenny2skinny07 I say grow the brand you have with more youthful products, but with American luxury being the focus. A stunning EV with a high tech, but tasteful luxurious interior would catch fire for them. Not everyone wants a hollowed out car like a Tesla.
Rented a Navi when we took a trip to San Diego few months ago. Itâs like trying to drive a ship on the streets, but the level of luxury is just insane.
Once you hear that raiti rides intro you already know you have to get your Twinkieâs and popcorn ready because itâs gonna be a movie
"After a hard day of work you can touch the wood" OMG gotta love Joe's humor LOL
Got a 2021 Lincoln Navigator as a Rental for a week few days back and I could say that it was the most luxurious ride I have ever had. The Power, the look and quality of this vehicle is just unmatched.
Nice job Lincoln for making these changes!! Awesome review Joe!

This is so very true!
You have a small luxury size twinkie holder and you could easily get 4 foot-longs, meatball subs with extra parm and a couple of drinks on the door. You could also put 2 five pound bags of Granny Smith apples on the space at the bottom. You have a mentos tray where you can freshen your breath on a hot date. In the rear seat, you have the ability to put at least one of those Costco size bag of Lay's chips. In the cargo area you have a nice little nook where you could put at least half a box of twinkies. There are also a few trays where you could put some nacho cheese in one and fill another one up with nacho chips.
Raiti's Rides is now an automotive video journalism essential. Love your channel, been watching you for a while now, and you only get better with time.
Iâm really loving this refresh; especially with the update to the second row seats. It never made sense to me that they didnât offer heated, cooled, and massaging seats in their flagship vehicle; especially at this price point. While itâs definitely subjective, in my opinion, the Navigator is the best looking and most luxurious of the 3 body on frame luxury SUVs. While I also really like the new Grand Wagoneer (Iâm dying to see a LWB version) and I also like the Escalade, I still prefer this over them just because Lincoln as a whole tends to emphasize luxury and comfort over sportiness. While the other two have amazing tech and screens, the Navigator still feels more plush. I definitely wonât discredit the other two nor admit this is perfect or the best, but Iâd for sure pick this over the other two every time and I canât wait for the order banks to open. Great review as always Joe! Iâve been wanting to see an in depth review and you never fail to deliver!
I feel the same as you - what I would like Lincoln add is the full length screen from the new Lincoln zephyr, heated and cooled seats for the third row passengers, moon roof for the third row with drop down screens, leather and wood in the third row side, and add a central armrest in the third row
Lincoln surely has that special sauce and they threw the entire bottle into this updated Navigator here!!! I love it!!! Thanks for the continued epic coverage of these luxury barges Joe and Lori!!! Y'all out here killing it!!! #RaitisRides #OnThrottle #Lincoln #Navigator
Always good, comprehensive reviews. Thanks.
I really love it how you donât script your videos, except for the numbers only that, really love how everything is from heart and not a memorized thing đ
This is the best time to be alive. It is genuinely difficult to choose between this, the escalade, and the grand Waggoner. All 3 Excell in different areas
Could you imagine having one of each!
Could you imagine putting that grand wagoneer against the other two? Are you nuts?
Wagoneer destroys those 2 Interior wise. Escalade wins Exterior. It bothers me tho they continue with the twin turbo v6 engine. Get the v8 if u want over 100k

Yo keep doing ya thing family just started watching your page got my wife on it also, we out here in AZ much respect fam you keep it real plus keep us laughing. Stay Blessed
Thanks for saying that and letting me share my car passion with you!
Great review, as always! I bought my 2021 Navigator in March of this year. Great car in every respect. The 450 hp has been great to get up to speed on the road or for freeway passing. And the paddle shifting is great for coming down from the mountains where I go quite a bit. One noticeable difference from my 2021 is on the rear: the red light horizontal bar is now on top of the chrome (mine is below the chrome). Active glide is new in the 2022, but not really my thing. And another change: the infotainment screen in the middle of the dash now occupies more of the fixed screen, so effectively it's now a larger screen (my 2021 has a fairly significant black border around the screen's working image). I called Lincoln about one question and one complaint I have. (1) Is there a way that I can either get rid of the rear window wiper or disable it. Why? Because it's useless and I keep accidentally turning it on when I hit the tiny toggle switch on the wiper stick. And (2): The excessive chrome on the interior causes a significant driving hazard because the sun reflects into my eyes while driving. Depending on the position of the sun, these intense reflections can come from the left door, the dash, the front console, or the right door. I now carry a couple of small microfiber towels, and place them over the offending chrome. Lincoln needs to fix this soon because it's really annoying and a driving hazard.
I got the 2015 one myself and I love driving her all over the place. The ride is extremely comfortable. Also I use it for lyft on the side and people love it
I like the new infotainment. They finally decided to use the entire screen instead having a huge border. They should've done this a few years ago. It was always a beautiful truck. Just the earlier screen that didn't do it.
Leave it to joe and Lori to make quality content đ
We can't do it without your support!
For me, it's the Escalade and it's not close. But I also love the Lincoln.
Another great video which always makes me hungry after I watch it.
My pappy said you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop driving that hot rod Lincoln
Not only do I like the Navigator, I love the black on black wheels with the chrome. It reminds me of one of James Bond's tuxedos.
This navigator is super cool love the blacked out design my dream truck for 2022!â„ïž awesome review joeđđ
That was dope! They have definitely upped there game and made anyone deciding between the wagoneer or escalade have to seriously consider the Navigator
I am so glad that you like this one Perry!
450 twin turbo V6 thatâs a lot of horsepower!đź
This new 2022 Navigator is my favorite of the full size SUVs. I own a BMW X7. It is perfect from my family of four and a better daily driver. However, if you have a big family or want to take relatives and a lot of luggage on a road trip, this is probably the ultimate SUV.
THANKS LORI ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO đč đ đ đ đ đ
Not gonna lie,in my lifetime,I've been exposed to a wide variety of American luxury cars from the '60s to the present day that have had, amongst other things,a fair amount of chrome trim,so I don't have as much of an objection to it as much as others would. Indeed,IMO, Lincolns or Cadillacs are not complete without a hint of it.
I like the color black and I especially love how the chrome starkly contrasts against the shiny black.
Yea but both have options, you could still get chrome on either, or none if you donât like itđ€·đŒââïž
Would have loved if they added some ambient lighting on the dashborad and all around the doors like s class , would make this vehicle top of the line.. thanks
Wow love it
Good Job on the Video

Thanks for letting me bring it to you Douglas!
Lincoln has really stepped up! One of these would be ideal for transporting customers at our plant.
You did an excellent job with the review. You are a natural.
Yea thatâs the first thing I would do with a 100k Lincoln is get nacho cheese tray set up in back đ I canât stop laughing on that recommendation đ
Sometime you have to think outside the box! LOL

Love the new updates on the 2022
Raitis is a Finnish word for sober!
Way to go! đđ
Iâm glad they fixed those taillights
Thank you Joe never get old..
Love that chrome baby! Always liked the Navigator, itâs my first choice over any of the competition. The only things I would change is the getting rid of the black rims on the tire and I would want a V-8 engine under the hood. I just like V-8 power on a big SUV like this one. Thanks for bringing this vehicle to us.
But na v8s have less torque and peak at a higher rpm. But for longevity and reliability I get it.
Gorgeous. For Livery Service, it is a total winner. MPGs, if true are awesome. Fair price.
Well done, Dearborn!đ
I love how he describes console space in terms of food đđ
Great tour!
One beautiful, technology filled luxury cruiser with some horsepower to move you down the highway. The interior is top notch that likely surpasses most home interiors. It would be hard to get out after the drive home. Thanks for a great review. Lincoln really stepped up it's game in the luxury SUV market.
I'm familiar with Navigator 20 plus years, warm feeling knowing I'm won over.
They did a great job with the refresh!
I think so as well. Especially on the interior Jason.
At 12:04 im digging what they did with turing signal and windshield wiper. Very clean
What a beast :)

Thatâs whatâs up! Great Uber ride! But, they need a hybrid model of this ride. We need better gas mileage!
Hybrid would be good here, I think.
Exactly what I was thinking. Considered getting one as a business class vehicle. I used to make some serious cashe driving as a private courier to & from airports
@@ferrarriohh enough to make car payments and this vehicle?
@@curiosityredpill7030 when my dad was still in govt work, many yrs ago, him & his coworkers would ask me to do pick up and drop-offs to/from airports for business trips. It was a nice payday because they were expensed.
A few yrs ago when i was traveling a lot, i had to pay for my own and i think they were running over $125-150 ea way. Id imagine with the right clients yes. At 5.75 the loan on the base model ($80k) is about what you pay to run a storefront business per month. Plus at the end of 6 yrs you have a vehicle to sell off for the next down payment.
Massaging "rear" seats is impressive. I could see that one feature being a deal-maker over the Escalade for limo companies and chauffeur-driven celebrities.

The Lincoln Navigator is my favorite SUV!
refresh is looking good. Love the changes
I have a question. How were you able to do a review of the 2022 Navigator when no one else can? Love your reviews. I test drove the Escalade Premium Platinum and did not like the seats. I was going for the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. But too many issues. This leaves the 2022 Navigator. So I have ordered a 2022 Black Label Invitation. Black Metallic / Black Onyx. Hopefully you can get your hands on one of the Black Label soon! Looking forward to your driving review.
