Some of you people who visit CZcams are SO mean spirited and narrow minded! Go through the same thing that this man went through and see how quickly your opinion changes! And who cares what his computer voice sounds like? The mere fact that he could communicate with us at all is a miracle! And for someone on here to say "Good. I'm glad he's dead." is just pathetic. I could understand someone saying that about someone such as Hitler or Hussein, but a film critic? This is America and we have freedom of speech! Alot of people crying because of what he said about Ryan Dunn from Jackass. But personally, i think if someone has no respect for someone that drink drives and not only that but speeds his vehicle to over 130mph in a 55mph zone, killing himself and the passenger aswell as endangering the lives of countless others in the process (men women and children, any of which and any number of which could have been another car or many other cars that could potentially been struck in the situation) then I think that's a fair enough stance to take.
Fans and family may think differently. Every other rational person with no connection to him will probably think otherwise. That's the thing with sympathy. You don't actually owe it to anyone.

I don't understand why the poor guy couldn't get a fake jaw. They replace entire joints in people with fake parts, hip replacements, knee replacements, shoulder replacements. They implant fake prosthetic chin implants and calf implants. Maybe they took all the muscles out too and that's why, idk, but that doesn't quite make sense to me either because usually you have bone cancer or muscle cancer in an area, not both, they are different kinds of cells, so I don't quite understand and it drives me a little crazy thinking about it.

+midnight15086 It was actually just a piece from his left jaw that was removed originally. In 2007 his jaw was indeed replaced with a new once fashioned from some of his upper femur. But, the new jaw became dangerously infected, and the whole thing was taken out.

There really was no limit to his megla mania and greed. If I were grossly deformed and had millions, I certainly would not plaster my face (or what is left of it) on this horrible "news" show to hawk an autobiography . The fact that the wife goes along with it says it all about her. I didn't find Roger Ebert interesting enough to buy a bio about him, frankly. He gave his opinion on movies. Most of which were junk to make money. So what. He announced he was a long time alcoholic and his several attempts to write screenplays were failures. He didn't even seem to know how to dress. Ebert is gone. He is almost forgotten except as a monument to unwarranted self promotion.
