In self-study, whether:
1) lack of doubt-solving by a teacher is a hindrance?
2) lack of guidance and performance analysis by a teacher is a concern?
3) lack of class material is a deficit?
4) whether recorded video lectures of a coaching are sufficient or we also need to go through the standard books?

Also, a lot sources have been stating that looking at the recent papers, the NS book has become comparatively obsolete now. More focus should be given to the TN History book or even the new NCERTs, creating further confusion. Assistance on the subject of Art and Culture is much required

I done my graduation form Mechanical Engineering. I am preparing for UPSC CSE form last one year, simultaneously I work for one education firm where my Job profile is helping student in their homework or any academic questions so I have to solve or write answers for lots of question form mechanical engineering. When I started for my UPSC preparation I was not confident about my subject knowledge of mechanical so I choice the geography as optional and prepared less than half portion of geography, but I have lot of difficulty in writing answer of it. On other hand due to my job profile, I got good command over mechanical engineering now, Yesterday I saw the Mains 2022s optional paper of mechanical and I am able to solve around 70 to 80 % question. Now I am confused. What should I do? continue with geography as optional or choice mechanical. I am preparing for 2022. Please help me. Thank You

Microeconomics is not a part of upsc syllabus.
After doing these, do Sriram Ias book instead of Ramesh Singh.
