    In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' on our Patreon page (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access it here: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 As an independent, consumer-oriented reviewer, we have fewer revenue-streams open to us than the majority of other channels out there, so we do ask for a small donation for access to this guide (as well as a free consultation and access to our other Patreon content). Thanks so much for your help!

    I have just purchased the tour 2! I just wanted to note that my 13 month old is almost 15kg !! And not walking yet. My first was the same so definitely the larger weight limit In the tour 2 was the appeal for us!

    Where do you find a Yoyo+ that’s in the same price range as the Tour 2? Everywhere I look it’s almost $300 different in price. Not to mention there’re discounts available for Tour 2 but rarely for Yoyo+

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 5 lety +2

      It probably depends on where you are in the world, here in Norway, the difference is a lot less at the moment (but prices fluxuate of course). Also take into account that the rain cover is included with the Yoyo+ :)

      Too much different😩 I’ll take the Tour 2 tho. Thanks for the review.

    Hello there! Thank you for making these reviews !It really helps someone like me who has no access to stores that sell these, and they're only available through online shopping. I was initially into the Babyzen yoyo, but then read many reviews where parents complained about how 'rickety' the stroll actually was, like a shopping cart. Did you experience this? I would like to have a stroller meant for travel (cabin space), but also that can actually be used when on holiday. If it can't be, then do you suggest the Minu, being checked in, and I'd just carry our baby around. How old does the baby need to be, to be easy placed in the Minu? Unfortunately, the tour2 isn't available anywhere in China, so that narrows down my options. I would only be using the stroller when travelling, and that would be next year March, at the earliest.

      Hi, glad you like our videos. We're done with the Jet for a little while now, but check out our stand-alone review of the Jet, and our recent comparison of the Tour 2 and the Yoyo + (our stand-alone review of the Tour 2 will be coming out in a few days). In my opinion, the Tour 2 is a great stroller, arguably equal to the Yoyo + in many ways, while the Jet doesn't match up to it's pricetag due to a variety of cut-corners in the way it's built (I cover it all in the review, but the highlights are: very difficult to remove fabrics, stroller is not disassemblable even where it should be, no ball bearings, poorly designed brake system, weak points in folding system). Hope this helps :)

      Tour 2 is a bit better. if it's more urban commuting than travel though (at least by plane), then the Uppababy Minu is sturdier than both. You can check out our review here: czcams.com/video/VTQzy1DXdFo/video.html

    I love your videos! I am searching for a lightweight stroller which has a reversible seat and a flat lying position. The closest thing i found was BJ City Tour Lux. Can you please make a review video for City Tour Lux or share your thoughts on that stroller?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 4 lety

      Thanks, glad you like our videos :) The physics of producing ultra-compacts sort of works against reversible seats, so the smallest reversible seat model that I'd really recommend would be the Joolz Hub. The Cybex Mios is ok engineeringwise as well for use with small children in an urban setting, but it's very over-priced.

    • @zalmant
      @zalmant Před 4 lety

      The Stroller Workshop thank you for the answer. This means you would prefer Joolz Hub over BJ City Tour Lux? For Joolz Hub I was concerned because you meant that the the stroller is up to 2,5 years sizewise...

  • @MilyAlcantar

    My son is 17mo old and I was interested in getting the tour2, as we only use a stroller to go to the grocery store or church a couple of days a week, and since we will be traveling by airplane soon, I wanted something that would be light and easy to fold. My issue is that he is 15kg and I worry that he'll grow too big and not use it for long. I'm so confused I don't know what to do. I saw the minu but since falls asleep so often and I previously had a stroller with a very short foot rest like the minu, and he totally hated it... yikes I'm so confused.

    Your reviews are what dad's like myself have always longed for! Very detailed and useful information. What's your thoughts on the Maclaren Mark II touted as the world's lightest stroller at 3.3kg? Umbrella fold but tried and tested and also cheap but I heard that it's been discontinued. Just wondering as the surge in popularity of ultra compact strollers for new age parents such as myself does the umbrella styled stroller still fit in this era? Thanks!:)

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 5 lety

      Great, good choice :) I like the Minu better than the Lux. The problem with any reversible seat on a travel stroller, is the separate seat unit, which will never be as spacious as forward-only, due simply to the basic physics of how a stroller must be engineered. Separate seat units also introduce mechanical complexity, which means more potential for problems down the road.

    Need to get a new stroller as my 3year old seems to outgrown the joie pact signature. Is there anything compact size, that has a long leg rest when a taller toddler is napping ? Going to see the baby jogger city tour 2,as that seems might have big legrest size and weight too is good(22kg?!),but still interested to what other can fit my wish-flat down sleeping position, as joie signature is not, and long legrest and can manage up to 22kg (or slightly under that weight?

    Great reviews, thank you! I was interested in the Baby Jogger City Tour Lux (as I was looking for reversible option) but the reviews state it has persistent issue with the canopy staying up when it is in the lie-flat position. Looks like I'll have to go with Cybex Mios (cost be damned, lol). Do you have any experience with the canopy issue?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 4 lety

      Right on. Glad you like our videos :) I haven't seen a canopy issue, personally, with this model, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one. A lot of times, I find that issues with the canopy staying up are caused by people attaching the canopy wrong in the back (as it attaches to the seat), such that there isn't enough 'give' in the textiles to allow the hinges to lock in place. :)
