Gen Zs in Kenya continue to push for the resignation of Kenya’s President Ruto and his government over what they term as failure to meet their promises and lack of accountability. The President fired his cabinet and is currently working on a broad-based team, will he meet the expectations of the citizens? Ruto was not elected by the people, he grabbed power; and so he’s not going to relinquish it willingly unless the people take it back by whatever means necessary.
"Will Ruto listen"? He doesn't have to listen, or simply put, he Ruto an employee of the people must listen to his employers --- the voters! Couldn’t have said it any better; you’ve nailed it Martha: Ruto has been recalled. Essentially, Ruto has no residual locus standi to make any reconstitution of Cabinet. He should instead start preparing to peacefully hand over the instruments of power to the fresh Executive emerging from the GenZs.
The way forward. Genz needs to appoint a Cabinet in waiting in exercise of direct people power. We need a Genz Executive/The Presidency and a GenZ Cabinet now to take over the reigns of governance immediately. Genzs in the LSK to provide further insight and guidance.

Cabinet ya Ruto in mchezo. As a resident of Mariakani i know KIMAWASCO is one of the worst performing parastatals in Kenya, as a company client in this town one can spend 2-3 months without water and yet get a fake bill every month. Appointing a senior manager from this parastatal as a CS is an insult to every Kenyan. Ruto must go!!

The notion " Ruto must go make no logical and constitutional sense". The demand for " good governance from the KK regime and past regimes is quite valid. In that regard " Ruto and his regime must be pressured to change and deliver good governance now and during his tenure". Direct exercise of power by the people though provided by the Constitution is impracticable. While some may demand that " Ruto must go; there are others who hold that he must stay and finish his tenure". Where is the consensus to exercise directly " people's power - nowhere aside from legalese argument. Settling for the regime to change and deliver for the people within the mandate delegated to it now, is the only wisdom - short of inviting the military and the suspension and reversal of the pyramid the Constitution now give us.
Ruto is still mocking Kenyans by re-appointing some of the former CSs and appointing Politicians such as DG aspirated for Kisii. Kenyans aren't fools. RUTO MUST GO.
