A mud-spattered Sonny Colbrelli of Team Bahrain-Victorious won a three-way cat-and-mouse struggle to claim victory in the epic Paris-Roubaix bike race in dreadful conditions on Sunday. After a 258km slog over cobbles and mud, the Italian and European champion Colbrelli sped into the Roubaix velodrome alongside hot-favourite Mathieu van der Poel of Alpecin-Fenix and Florian Vermeersch of Lotto-Soudal before edging them right on the line.

Chiudo dicendo che il divario di stipendi che ci sono fra i due sport e una cosa inspiegabile , solo per il rischio che c'e' correndo in bici, nonche la durata delle gare . Tutto qui ..... Un calciatore definito 'fighetto' non credo lo riterrà un apprezzamento. Né un vero ciclista penserebbe mai a sterili frecciatine come queste. After reading that Italy beat England in a Cricket match (I didn't even know that we had a national team) and that Polo's women's became european champion (obviously beating England) it seems clear to me that a italian win in cycling was obvious.
If we win Cricket or Polo games 😲 in sports where we are traditionally competitive (as cycling) it's useless to compete, just choose a random italian. 😎😏

😤 Colbrelli's performance today was nothing spectacular. He didn't put enough work, and yet he was giving Van Der Poel commands to put in more work! Van Der Poel, Vermeersch, or Moscon were the better champions today. (Someone check Colbrelli's bike.) How is it that Colbrelli is outclimbing some of the best GC contenders? Not even Remco could drop him! Makes no sense.
