The wardrobe looks lovely! Heels and wedges will fit on that bottom shelf, you just need to turn them around so the toe is pointing in. 😊

I used the Komplement Pull Out Trays for my shoes. I can fit several more pairs of shoes in the same amount of space as a shelf, but everything remains easily accessible.

OMG I have the same exact size. Those three ikea closet are amazing. Girl I empty out 2 chest furniture with 4 drawers. It’s amazing. I couldn’t believe until I did it. I’m still building the small closet. && is is very true fist closet or first drawer to build is the hardest but once u do the second one it is super easy. I had to build mine standing as well because my room is small so it was going to be hard to stand it up. Exactly the same thing happened to me. Lol I was like OMG, the same thing happen to me and the same exact size of everything. So cool I can relate. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🥰
Ahhh so weird! Building them standing is def way harder. The rest of the stuff really is way easier though after you do one!

You are WONDER WOMAN being able to put those Ikea drawers and things together! I got 4 of the 9-drawer units and I had to hire somebody to put those together. There were a million pieces to put together! Your PAX System looks AMAZING!

I have this ipax closet system but with the mirrored doors and I absolutely love it. I'm amazed at how much you cam fit in it. I'm now addicted to watching how everyone else organizes theirs so I can see if I need to make any changes to mine or not. This was a great video !

You can design our own on Ikea's website. It's very easy. Just search for Pax closet system on their website and it will pop up. Then you can see all the prices associated with it for your personal space and design.
CUTE: Couple! Suggestion: The space in the middle you should put a mirror there to fill that whole space. As for the shoes get a Billy Bookcase in the same color and use that as your shoe display. Also get another Billy to stack on top of your dresser to put more stuff there.

Hi! Can you turn the wedges around, so heel is showing? I have doc marteens on my same shoe shelf and facing in... works great. TYFS
Girl, you need to put shoes back first on those shoe shelves. So the tip goes underneath the 2nd tier. You have to put your flats on the higher tier and the boots go below. It saves space. I love your new closet, i bought the exact same style this month and done putting it together now. Love it! We ended up getting rid of all the closets in the house and sacrificed 1 (small) room to be all ikea PAX.

Just turn the shoes around. Tuck the toes under the shelf above...heels out. ;-)

the biggest one is 100cm, the medium sized one is 75cm and the smallest is 50cm ☺️

Love this video. How is the quality of the pax system for the cost? Is it something you feel will hold up over time? I don’t live close to an IKEA 😢 so I can’t check it out myself. I trust your judgment though 😁.
I drove 4 hours for that exact reason. No IKEA near me but I just needed to "get a feel" for myself, so my family made a weekend out of it. The material IS very sturdy and seems to be long lasting. I loved the store... totally worth the trip.

My units are assembled. Logistics prevented me from having them lashed to each other and the wall before adding all the drawers rods and shelves. Am I too late? Is it still possible to have them clamped together and attached to the wall?

Not just you, I thought most people did that including me lol. The only shoes my family and I put away for storage are out of seasons shoes (like winter boots) or the ones we don't wear often.

I was about to ask the same question as well. We never keep shoes in the closet or together with our clothes. Maybe because of the hot and humid climate, but it’s not considered hygienic to keep them together, especially if it’s not stored. I have a dressing room and I do keep my shoes in my dressing room, but they are in clear boxes in a corner of the room. However I noticed in a lot of videos where shoes are stored together with clothes. Is that a common thing?

Did you secure them to the wall?
Was it hard to put it together? Just time consuming? Is it better to just poke one box at a time and assemble it before opening others.

In Europe the width of one pax frame is about 1 meter (something like 39 inches) but you also have frames that are smaller (about 20 inches)

There are 3 types:
- 50 cm
- 75 cm
- 100 cm
I could never compromise that much room in the middle for the decor 😅 I would need all the bars to hang stuff that I could get haha
I mentioned that in the video. I'm going to change that by adding another drawer and then another shelf. It's hard to see how much room there will be until it's set up.
It needs to work for you, that’s most important. I’m just saying that I would have put another bar in the middle to hang things rather than having it look pretty, but that’s because I have a lot of hanging clothes 🤷🏻♀️

This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener.’
I personally didn’t, but that’s because I have the taller ones & there isn’t a way for them to move since they go almost to the ceiling. If they were the shorter ones they could fall then I’d definitely fasten them to the wallz

How smoothe are the drawers when opening/closing? I love the look and want to buy one for my closet, but I hate sticky/clunky drawers. I can’t remember if you mention it or not 😬
I have IKEA Pax system and the doors do not stick. In fact, they are soft close which is a really nice lux touch.

There's only two options, and hers is the deeper one. I think a little over 22inches.
Who wants to go through it and it all up for cost? several questions wanting to know the total cost of the project.... just put your receipt total!
It’s not helpful to share what I spent. I don’t even know what I spent because it was a while ago & a few different trips. It’s such a customized thing that it’d cost a different amount for everyone which is why I didn’t share in the first place.

I had the same question. Would've been helpful to know how much it would've cost to get professionally installed + custom closet compared to DIY IKEA closet system. I did a quick tally of the items and it came out to be about $600 (minus the drawer inserts).
The buildout paper she showed at IKEA showed $640.
