What I among other things really enjoy about Joe B. is his ability to work with and play the music of the legends of the seventies. It gives him an extreme credibility ... credibility of musical quality - Shining On !!
Once you've heard the Glenn Hughes scream, you never forget, I always think of Deep Purple's performance at Cal Jam, 1st time I Heard Glenn sing and scream..after awhile it got to Ritchie and the band was no more (that line up MK III ?)

You're right about not being a contest because they are not contesting right now, but this is part of the king of the blues contest. JB does show respect to all of his idols, but I'm not the only one who says that he always blows them of the stage, being way better than his legends ever were, let alone when they're 80 years old.
