A dream come true, Steve & Joe jamming like it should be!
Steve Lukather ... Many are different but no one is better .. A true master
Omg ive never seen this before. Fantastic. Love Joe's beliefs about sharing stage. So great that Smile! Steve great!!
Luke has a fine collection of Interesting Shirts....
If this isn't the blues at its best then I've never heard the blues, just can not beat this.
Aaron Kubas, you have to get this set or music and let your dad hear it, please.
JB,Glenn,Steve...what a persons & what a music heads!
Oh, great Hubert. How do I miss this true "dirty" blues sounds much other than cristal clear of these fabulouse guys.
Joe just seems to find new talent, great guitar players, new ones too, that I never heard of. Thank you, Joe. My daughter Jill went to see your Greek Theater concert last Sat. night, full moon and all, tribute to the best. She said she threw you a kiss for me. Some day I'll get a chance .... I live in Australia, maybe over here. Keep it up, love you....Babala
a great show
joe is the best of this time
23:2 1. Monster lick, so classic Lukather. Listen to that over and over. So many years of music stretch here. Bless Joe, he’s playing inside so perfectly. He let’s Steve take some outside runs. Perfect match
Brilliant musician
Joe seems to have that perfect medium between grit, good tone and note intonation
The 2 best in my lifetime. .....
JB just blows me away
Steve Lukather...Total GENIUS!!!
My word im watching this for the second time in a row.
wow this gig was amazing!
Joe, you are Great. This is a very special Show .You Love the Blues and of course The Blues Loves you too...I will See you in Frankfurt in May. And I saw you in Stuttgart Last Year . Thank you for giving me an unforgetable Time also with this amazing Musicians in the Band. Keep the Blues alive !
I Dig it all 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍Da 💣👏✌🔥
Awesome performance!
The guy with the White SG in the second song rips...Joe's choice of other musicians has always rocked.
That would be Mr. Elliot Easton, formerly of The Cars. He's long been a favorite of mine, as well, although, being a southpaw myself, I suppose I'm somewhat partial to others like myself. And regarding the SG - what can I say - SWEEEEEET!!!
He's awesome, specially vocally.
At about the 17-19th minute the base player looked and sounded like Glen Hughes ... and indeed it was Glen Hughes !!
What I among other things really enjoy about Joe B. is his ability to work with and play the music of the legends of the seventies. It gives him an extreme credibility ... credibility of musical quality - Shining On !!
Once you've heard the Glenn Hughes scream, you never forget, I always think of Deep Purple's performance at Cal Jam, 1st time I Heard Glenn sing and scream..after awhile it got to Ritchie and the band was no more (that line up MK III ?)
SUPER
Mpnamasa,forever,i,weeses,tou,the,groups,ooollls,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
these guys are in a precision workshop!!
In the 90's, I was a fan of Kenny Wayne Shepherd (still am), then years later I started playing blues guitar and saw JB play the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame for Freddie King and I was in awe...Since then I've heard many of his songs and I consider him THE STATUS QUO of not just Blues Guitar...but of the entire present guitar world...And, I agree...He's way beyond BB King, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy...However, there's one blues guitarist that matches JB...Mr. Stevie Ray Vaughan.
19:50 Oh my! Give me butterflies in my stomach hahaha
ver a steve lukather y joe bonamassa juntos es muy groso!!
awesome !!!
luke at his best toto amsterdam concert solo in while my guitar gently weeps
Very cool indeed!
All of you nobodies telling Steve f'n Lukather what he "should" play?..Hilarious ..one of the best to ever pickup the instrument..Def an influence on Joe
babies in the comments be armchair improvising while Luke shows us how it's done.
awesome Joe
Thank you for posting this. Joe rocks!
Luke is a big personality his sound is big! joe is awesome luke would always say joe is better! in fact luke always plays down his own abilities and raves about the other guys!
Luke is a MONSTER and along with Tommy Tedesco R.I.P and Paul Jackson JR, one of the three most recorded guitarists of all times. He is without a doubt, one of the greatest of all time!
do you know what's the title of the song who they play together? I'd like to do it, but I've never heared it before so I can't find it.
excellent singer too, never realized how many of the Toto tunes he does, and ones that are hits, Rosanna.Gorgie Porgie, 99, etc
Great rendition of old Trapeze song...Medusa.
Fantastico!!!
It is cool to hear the bass rock it out,
Lukather!
Merci messieurs
Yeah Steve Lukather is a great player, one of the best!
Anyone that can hang with JB rocks or get embarrassed. Shit, my idols have all got to take a back seat to this guy, I would love to see him play with Tony Iommi, Alex Lifeson, and David Gilmour. He is on there level and then some. I saw him in Sacramento in the spring. I was blown away. From the front row. I got the tickets from a PBS fund raiser. I bet JB an Richie Blackmore would be cool.
not his best performance but still incredibly awesome!
you are very welcome
Elliot Easton holds his own well here.
I to jest to co lubi... :)
increible!!!!!
Steve Lukather Rocks!!!
Good 'ol Steve Wankather
the INCREDIBLE Mr Glen Hughes :)
Ca c'est du solo qui déchire sa race, nrs lukather.
This first song is called; the ballad of john henry.
The real hero here is Steve Lukather!
S.R.V. , Neal Schon, Gary Moore, Hendrix, Lukather/Mayer, Jeff healey, Walter Trout, Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne, Roy Buchanan Your welcome.
Does anyone have a setlist with songs and artists, please? Thanx.
Go to see the 12 year old Dustin Tomsen playing and sing Joe Bonamassa's song "Blue and Evil" (Included guitar solo) here on youtube!!! Dustin is very very good...he reminds me a lot of the young Joe Bonamassa. .

❤u
The Great Flood...:-). My fav song with The Last Marador of Bayonne...;-).
I thought that was Elliot Easton. One of the best.
Steve L IS even beyond Gary Moore here
Does anybody think Elliot looks like Elton John up there? Great job by all!
Would have been ever so gracious if all the other great artists featuring in this video were given the credits they deserve in the description.....🙄
One of my favourite Lukather moments.
Damn.
Don't lost your shadows Joe! 8)))
Luke!!
Medusa!!!!!!
Umm, he's actually Hubert Sumlin, Howlin' Wolf's guitarist. Read all of my comments before you make conclusions. You're right about not being a contest because they are not contesting right now, but this is part of the king of the blues contest.
JB does show respect to all of his idols, but I'm not the only one who says that he always blows them of the stage, being way better than his legends ever were, let alone when they're 80 years old.
Je suis français également et j'habite à l'opposé de toi, à Metz, dans le Nord Est...;-) !!!
#HailYes #Gr8VideoAndContent
Lo mejor Luke Ft Bonamassa
I miss when Joe and Glenn were friends... love their partnership
The making of BCC
What is the name of the first song? It's amazing!
Yep, those are the top 2 for me as well....
I'll throw in Derek Trucks and Sonny Landreth for slide guitar.
Ballad of John Henry
Elton John on guitar! True left hander!!
Is that steven segal with the burst about a quarter of the way through?
can you give me the names of guitarists who play in concert , especially the young with white Stratocaster ?
lol I like the irony of your line about embarrassment...Howlin' Dog wasn't known for his guitar playing...Hell I don't even remember a time where he played one (though it's not too far to think he has). lol Do you feel stupid now? And, JB is a legend in his own right and HUBERT SUMLIN (rock in peace brother) should feel just as honored as JB does to share the stage with such talent.
the first few seconds had no idea what he was playing
Is that Glenn Hughes on bass what a line up
Anyone got a run down on all the musicians in this vid? I recognize about half of 'em - Elliot Easton, Glenn Hughes, ( Is that Rick Neilson in the black beret? ) & who's the feller with the pink strat? He really rocks!!!!
glenn hughes is 68 years old. let that soak in.
Who are the other musicians in this concert and at what time slots Thanks
please somebody tell me the name of the first track!! i think he opens up with this song at the royal albert hall concert {which sounds a lot better) not to sure.
Calm down everyone. Luke is just trying to inject some excitement into an old done to death blues format. And Joe is also playing a lot of notes like he always does.
His name is Tyler Dow Bryant.....
The birth of Black Country Communion
The makers of Joe's Glasses, need glasses. lol. AWESOME playing. Steve's playing here is exceptionaly brilliant.
