Movies of Denis Villeneuve like Polytechnic, Incendies, Sicario, Prisoners are perfect examples when it comes to studying the depiction of violence. He remarked, depicting violence in movies is valid only until it's from the perspective of a victim.

I would say Hollywood is way ahead of us, what do we have in the name of commercial cinema? Action movies or action comedies that too are badly done. Whereas look at the commercial cinema of Hollywood..action adventures, fantasy movies, super hero movies, fairy tales, zombie movies, post apocalypse movies, slashers etc... rock's jungle cruise was panned by critics, now imagine if something like that was made in india..people would go crazy for it.

I always get so much from your videos, thank you. it is like Indian cinema has been in a bubble while the rest of the world progresses on. it is a rare treat to see something new emerge with art, let alone from a country that houses the world's oldest written and spoken language. the journey that Indian cinema has taken has been an absolute joy to witness and i, for one, applaud the effort and cannot wait to see what India comes up with in the coming years.

We are tolerating cringe romance from last 30 years. I watched some Korean movies and just amazed by their raw violence which indian cinema never had. Its good to see indian movies are using raw violence content
