  • Today we are unboxing or uncrating a BluePrint Chevrolet 350 crate engine! This one is going to be a fun one! I'm going to show you exactly what to expect and how to get the crate engine ready for install.
What we have is a BluePrint Engines BP3505CTC which makes 390 HP, 410 TQ with aluminum heads and a brand new cast iron block!
Compression ratio is 9.2:1, Cast Iron Crankshaft, 3.480 in. Stroke, Forged 5.700 in. connecting rods, Hypereutectic pistons, Internal Front/ External Rear engine balance. The camshaft is a roller with .495 Intake .502 Exhaust, 220 Intake / 224 Exhaust duration @ .050 - 114 degree lobe separation.
It even has a 4 bolt main and 1 piece rear main seal! This is one sweet engine!
This is such a great option for someone that doesn't want to rebuild their engine, doesn't have an engine to rebuild, or wants it done super fast! Shipping only took 2 days and was free with ‪@SummitRacing‬

You know what? I’m a regular viewer of your CZcams channel. I have seen all your videos, and your content qualities are very good. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality content, but still, it's not delivering to the right audience due to SEO problems. You should focus on your SEO to get a large fanbase. Thank You.

A couple years ago, I bought a Blueprint 350 "Base" motor, which they don't offer anymore. They claimed at least 373hp,
It was a long block, with Vortec heads, and my dyno sheet showed just over 400hp and 400tq.
Back then it was very reasonably priced, and still runs great. It's in a summer fun car and doesn't have a ton of miles, but it was and is, an amazing value for the motor.

Great little engine. I have used this same engine and it makes great power. A lot of people will say that the HEI is no good but it is one of the best ignitions out there. That little Holley vac. sec. is also a perfect carb and will have very good throttle response.

By any chance did you get a video of this engine running. I have the same one that I'm installing in my 94 k1500 but haven't got to start it yet.
Just curious how it sounds and revs up.

Hey man, thanks for the video and info! The only question I have to this is, is your engine roller cam and already broken in so you can just pour oil in? The other Blueprint engines I've looked at are roller, just want to confirm yours in the vid is too. I've dealt with the flat tappet cam nightmare in my '86 GMC truck and want to upgrade to roller cam with a 5 speed eventually

Yep this engine is roller and pre broken in on a dyno according to the description on the Summit website. Just pour oil in and go. Thanks for watching!
