That 'computer' was a lot of open relays. The moth was caught in a set of contacts. It was reportedly taped into the maintenance logbook but it may not have happened.
This took place on September 9, 1947 at Harvard University. The famous .Grace Hopper was part of that computer group. She was involved in the development of early computer languages. She had an amazing career.
