Hey Jake, been watching for a very long time. I really appreciate you knocking out these breakdowns.

You're videos are a god send. I love how, even if you don't entirely know how a setting works in any given effect, you still go through every single one and show what they do. I hate tutorials that are like, "don't touch any of those, you'll never need them" because those settings are there for a reason!

Hey Jake! Just want to let you know how much I appreciate your guides and tutorials. So much gold nuggets and your channel is so underrated. Please keep going and don't give up!

I have been using this effect on a daily basis these days. But mainly to retime material from a black and white movie from 1959 that is only available at 23 something fps. I use frameblending as well, but will especially use Timewarp to subtly stretch the end of the clip because somehow after doing different kinds of manipulation (including using Synthetik's Studio Artist to stylize the video material), I end up with material that is around 58 fps. When I set it to 59,94 I miss some frames from how it fits my original edit. Putting a keyframe near the end, and a second one that I roll back to a speed where I cover the last part with frames. And it is litterally non-visible in the end result.
Now I see this, there is more to learn about this effect. Thanks for this!!
By the way, this series is super useful, because it shows what effects I would not ever think about that can actually yield wonderful results! It is always great to broaden your toolbox.

Thank you man, I thought Time Remap was the only way until this vid

Again, thank you for this series, it is very useful. That said, not using a video clip of someone taking a jump to the left when doing a Timewarp tutorial seems like a wasted opportunity.

Man, so many of your tutorials are brilliant! Working on a little personal project this week and about five of your videos have helped add elements. I had no idea Timewarp existed - this is really gonna save me from having to muddle my way through speed ramping (or whatever it's called) in Premiere Pro and then importing back to After Effects. Thanks very much.

Enabling time remapping on a layer in Ae is another way to do it. But it doesn’t include as many features as time warp.

    Most useful tutorial so far

Thanks for this tutorial. My first problem I encounter is that my rendered clip, once timewarp is applied, does not expand in total runtime. So the video is slowed to 50% but is cut in half.

Extend your comp way out. Enable Time Remap. Extend the clip. Don't need to mess with Time Remap keyframes, just drag the out point out.

When I started editing and motion design in general I've had never touched premiere pro yet so the concept of speed ramping with speed % always confused me.... this helped a lot even though I knew timewarp existed I never bothered to use it cause of that issue 😂

hi I just found your channel and it's been so helpful! I don't know if you take requests, but if you do could you make a video on how to make scattered out text fall into place. not with the scatter effect itself, but for example, each letter moves individually into place with random position and rotation keys? not sure if that makes sense. thanks again!

Jake I really like your tutorials thanks for your work every day 🙀✌️, but please show 5-10 seconds of the results of this tutorial at the beginning of each video, I’m watching you from Kazakhstan I don’t understand English very well, I would like to “quickly” see first “the result tutorial" then just apply it for yourself thanks!!! ❤️
