"Exciting news from the United Pilipino Seniors of Quebec! On May 3, 2024, they proudly launched their new program aimed at empowering seniors through technology: the Computer Class initiative. This initiative is designed to provide our beloved seniors with essential skills in operating computers, navigating the internet, online banking, watching TV online, and crucially, recognizing and avoiding scams.
Thanks to the generous support of the Federal Government, the United Pilipino Seniors of Quebec received a grant that has made this program possible. They are deeply grateful for their investment in our community's well-being and growth.
To mark the launch of this vital program, we were honored to have Member of Parliament Anthony Housefather of Mount Royal riding join us. His presence underscored the importance of bridging the digital divide and ensuring that all members of our community have the opportunity to thrive in today's digital world.
