Hello my freind
I get you don't like it, It is way too annoying.
Sorry you had to go through the pain of doing it all over again, Syntac But what I think wild card should do is maybe have different colorations when you hop on the dinosaur detailment. Where like in green areas That's where you can go and as soon as it gets to the red areas. Don't get into them or you're gonna dismount I don't know But definitely think the taming method is very difficult.
what did you do to make it where you do not need a cryofridge to through the cryopod?
U can do the Sand whirlpool to a giga and its based off Drag weight of the creature im pretty sure similar to Acro from Ark Additions i believe it does around 50k health to the giga as well.
"you can't impregnate a mountain" were do you think rock golems come from? đ€Ł
I will never see Rock Golems the same ever again
âTrust me, I triedâ killed me after that xD
After some âmountains dewâ was inserted, the Rock Elemental was born.
Something interesting is that IRL Oviraptor lived in the Gobi desert
But was it a desert back then? I mean even the sahara had been more like a jungle just like 10-15k years ago
@@isshi6617 yes it was
it was stealing eggs from Deserty caverns where hervibores hide their eggs from the heat
@@sealyplays8068 Oh I see! your answer made me courios and I searched it up, it really was a desert in the late cretaceous time period, but it had scrubland and dense rainforest parts too. that probably makes it the oldest desert on earth I guess
edit: I have to correect myself the Namib Desert in southwestern Africa is considered the oldest one :D
â@@sealyplays8068 multiple specimens of oviraptors have been found protecting and lying on their own eggs, the idea that they primarily consumed eggs is outdated and very likely false.
â@@__-be1gkWell said.
Its not being around rocks that loses you control of the Fasso. You just lose control of the movement for a second or so after it hits a rock or tree. That's why when you are in a dense rocky area you don't have any control, it's constantly having collisions and resetting that timer
The fasola does a 180 turn everytime it hits something, thats why it always goes in the opposite direction
I don't understand how he hasn't realized this just from observing the behaviour. It's so obvious.
build a ranch, tame some Ovis and other farm themed creatures, enable wander then put inside fences then enable wander. it might will look good.
Terror birds! He can be an ostrich farmer just like a real desert texan
â@@__-be1gk I get what you are aiming for, but terror birds farms don't sound like a good working environment.
Donât forget Equus
The Dino Leash needs to release. Extinction is so far away.
Btw Syntac, leveling fasola melee does work, itâs just hard to tell because of the armor breaking stuff it does (it can also be applied to anything that hits you)
exactly this ^ if you want to do good damage tests then a training dummy is kind of needed since they dont hit back so there wont be any armor shredd messing with the numbers
Ok, name idea for the new fasalo baby:
King K Rool
I mean come on! The comparison is just too real! XD
If you ever build some sort of western breeding building I suggest for it to be named the "Syn Bin" đ
@syntac just in case, for the oasisaur to be able to do a fast easy tame, get a creature with 30k+ hp and depending on your taming rates, it could be as quick as killing 3 vulchers or 2 waves
When you hit something (rock, salt, metal and other stuff like this) while taming the fasolasuchus, it makes a U-turn. That's probably why it confuses you about not having control over it sometimes.
This ^
And every time you hit a new rock it resets the need to do a u-turn so in massive rocky areas you have ânoââcontrol until it completes a full u-turn animation
HOLD YOUR EQUIS ITS TIME FOR A SYNTAC VIDEO!!
If you zoom in a bit on the map, you can actually see the salt patches out in the desert. They seem to have been placed all around the map at distances that you can (almost always) cover during a fasolasuchus tame. Yesterday I went all around the map just once, and was able to tame 4 fasos, all above level 100 wild. The reason salt works the best even though it's somewhere between rocks and metal for torpor, is because there are no walls or cliffs to dismount you at most of them. In total, I used 6 grenades to tame those 4 fasos.
As far as I gathered, after a collision you lose control for a sec or two. Itâs part of the taming mechanic. You regain it quickly enough, unless you are in a high resource pop area. Then you will pretty much have no control until the resources are almost gone.
How about Crunch for the Fasola - their poor skulls after all those rocks đ
Salt is the way. There is a ton of salt in the desert. I mapped out several groups salt clusters( 2 chains consisting of 10-12 salt clusters) which made it easy to map a route. And I never had any trouble steering them. Aim with the mouse-he will make a semi circle when you hit something then you have control again. Easy peesy.
Syntac, the way it works is that you lose control for a few seconds when you hit something and then regain control, even if you hit a tree
I mean its still dumb because it auto steers itself into cliffs and ruins
@@Syntac tamed 2 of them today I noticed that every time you hit something it will always turn backwards, left or right is kind of a 50/50 from what i noticed but if you play around it turning backwards for everything it hits you can kind of control its movement in a way, and honestly stayed away from anything inland you can tame them with just the salt rocks much less stressful.
@@Syntac Oh, 100%, no argument here. Just when I realized when and how I was losing control, it made the taming easier, and I was hoping it would for you too. But yes, the fasola's love of unbreakable terrain is really dumb.
It's not even a case of 'losing control', it doesn't 'auto steer' either. It's just a simple U-turn left or right. When you understand that, it becomes very easy to manage.
@szorrin6812 That is what I said, yes.
39:38 That's a pretty common visual bug I've been getting on console. I don't know what it is, but it's definitely VERY annoying.
You actually can track creatures before feeding just by putting something in their inventory. Can be anything.
That fullscreen of colour or curtain as i've come to call it is very common within the wyvern trench.
It could be black, red, rainbow coloured and its gotten me killed a few times because i think i'm flying out of the trench when in reality i'm flying into a cliff.
Did some testing on that, itâs some type of bug with the fog, if you do the console command to remove fog, theyâll go away
Iâve experienced this a lot in caves in general, anywhere with dust or fog effects seem to have this issue. It was so bad I wasnât able to see any part of my screen for a solid like 2 minutes as it just kept spawning on top of me. Really hope itâs not a problem for Aberration cause thatâll be complete hell
Yes it's the fog once you turn it off it goes away. Command R.volumetricfog 1
Volumetric fog is a blight on video games.
That baby XD Captain Von Overbite đ
That titanosaur really didn't want to participate in the experiment.
22:44 the baby Fasolasuchus pronounces his name like "Fffffasholasuchusf"
Imprinted ones are literally OP you are so fast in the sand. (Grass if you're on The Island)
If you havenât named it yet: Joanna? They get rescuers down under in Ireland?
Wildcard should've made the fesalo a counter to golems
I have found that taming them in the salt s in open desert allows you to clip corner nodes of patches...Then the open sand allows me to regain control...So most of the time you can pick one node off, and he won't drive through the rest...He just ends up wandering into open sand...Nodes near structures are risky tho...You can never gain control if you are resetting control bar on trees, and rocks consecutively
My daily dose of syntac, I'm not an addict I swear!
Not just 50, we counted. Last I checked over 180 since you said "check discord"
that was crazy.
That blue fog always happens to me in the entrance of the 3 caves
That blue screen happened to me too (not just blue sometimes red and pink) it think it has to do with the fog inside the canyon where the cave is once I turned off fog it doesn't happen anymore.
best one to knock it out are salt deposit on the desert less dismount higher torpor and distance towards each deposit will make it on the control bar
We need a Syntac and Axeman collab video
The Baby Fasola is just a giant iguana and you canât change my mind
hey syn just wanted to throw a little tip ride the creature into the sand dunes and go for salt deposits for now on its easily the best way to tame it its the easiest in my opinion
also you lost control when you hit rocks but it takes only a few seconds of you to not hit something for you to lead them
You can use the faso to see under the map for death worms btw, kind of tricky, involves pulling out your spyglass before fully submerging.
I'm so glad Syntac changed the thumbnail to be just the like deinosuchus one from the cluster, I was even gonna comment it at first, but part of me thinks he was planning on doing one thumbnail and changing it later all along just to stay true to the original titan devourer
Every time he hits a rock/tree he does a 180 turn automatically. Besides that you should have control of it.
Oviraptors don't spawn on Scorched mainly because they make wyvern egg hunting a breeze, stealing the egg without any aggro
Great video syntac đ
Literally tons of salt in the desert. You do have control, you just lose it for a few seconds after collision
Love the vids syntac â€â€đ
Hey syntac a perfect name for a fasolosuchus would be Sinkhole, Drifter, or Felisha because weâll sink things under the sand and bye bye Felisha lol
Iâve found the Ovis spawns pretty regular around red and green obs
Those strange visual bugs can be mitigated by turning off volumetric fog, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that.
He should. Everyone should. Volumetric fog is a terrible waste of resources, and most of the time causes a bunch of issues. Devs need to stop shoving it in their games.
Tbh am i the only one who thinks it would be cool to have a possibilty for the creature to be deformed as well as mutated? Maybe this has been considered but ive never heard anyone talk abt it lol
Edit: it could have less levels than normal aswell
Another great vid đ
Already a w vid
This is one of my first comments and I just want to let you know that I genuinely enjoy and learn from you videos. Thanks for all of the great content
hi @syntac just a suggestion maybe you can add in your town like a "car dealership"/ranch for dinos where you can "buy" rideable dinos and saddles maybe carts as well thank you đ
Not sure if you know this yet, but if you're in third person on your fasolasuchus and wait for it to bury itself, then you can equip your spyglass to see under the map
It was another great video from you but you should do buildings like crafiting place I mean its better if you organize your things more than leaving them open in town and it would be better if you build some kinda of hospital for breeding and leveling up
Hey syntac, I saw a video that said the fasolosuchus will make a âuâ turn when it hits ANYTHING. So all the the best on future projects.
If you ever download more QOL mods, I would really suggest using the Easier Fasolasuchus Taming mod!
I watched the beginning and I was like this is gonna be fun
You lose control for a few seconds after you hit anything. It's part of the mechanic.
38:00 you came for that
i believe a co mbination of falo and wolves should be a good team to kill deathworms. the falo can use debris whip to stun the worms and the wolves can kill them easily without taking to much damage
i love syntac best videos
Come on syntax . Love your videos .
Choco chip and darth gator
"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"
I know you name your breeders with the stats but it'd be hilarious to name the new lizard baby Oedipus for the laughs
I always find ovis by the green ob
You don't have control, you guide it to hit stuff. But it is trying to knock you off its back thats why when its a dense spot it just slams everywhere
You should make a ranch for your town and then you could do your breeding while not making the town look ugly
The Ranch could also be ur full base outside of the town
I love switching maps to grab my gear from another map and some mounts but the game thinks I somehow am a new person and I donât have any owning rights of my mounts and buildings. Such a great game.
And then I switch back to the previous map and canât access any of my stuff on that map yet I can spawn at the beds. Makes sense
Syntac.... Question... If you end up breeding and mutating the crap out of them... For your own fasolasuchus... Could you maybe make the colors of Godzilla?
Can't impregnate a mountain but you can make some nice caves đ
Payson tag it's not that you don't have any control if you lose control for a 10 to 15 seconds after colliding with a breakable object. So you might not want to collide with objects to rapidly you might want to hit them sparsely but close enough together to keep control. If the terrain permits.
hooray!!! I just was like dang.... syntac prob wont do a vid... BUT YAY
@Syntac If you want easy mutton, I've found a number of sheep (sometimes with babies) around the green obelisk and the red obelisk up on the small hills surrounding it.
"If you can dodge a rock you can dodge a tree" - Syntac O'Houlihan
One more syntac vid for today
26:06 so we just gonna act like the argies poop osnt superman
Syn if you want to remove those random pegos from the taming tracker maybe it will fix if you do a Dino wipe
im pretty sure the faso makes a 90 degree turn after hitting smth, so if you hit a bunch of things in a row you wont have control
hey syntac .. little note .. the moment you hit something with the fasola... you forcefully loose the ability to navigate him for a few seconds
i guess you already know that but it sounds a bit like you dont so i thought i just tell you .... sorry 4 bad english and greetings from germany
Agreed itâs a frustrating tame. Salt, Sulfur and bones are an âeasierâ method as they are in the dunes and thereâs less to get thrown from.. however you need to do a lot of prior work and scope out locations and use waypoints to make a path⊠in my experience max distance you can do between areas is 550m-ish
Cool video plz make Mutations with the fasolasuchus
now build an army of them and do an alpha boss fight with everyone also u can ground wyverns with them
Everytime u hit something with the faslo trying to knock it out itll go in the other direction after it breaks said item
Syntac, the reason you are struggling with controlling the facola. Is because the way it works is that the higher the control bar is up, the less control you have over the Dino.
This is wrong. It just does a U-turn left or right every time you hit something. Control bar is just a representation of how much time you have left before it dismounts you. Nothing more.
I was starting to thing there wasnât any raptors on this map 15:45
If they gave players the ability to make something for the tame itâd feel like a better experience. Like spike walls but blunt so it induces torpor
The video glich at 39:39 happens to me pretty often but its black, not green-ish. I am playing on ps5.
They seem to do a 180 degree turn after hitting something before you regain control
lol I know the breeding icon is two hearts⊠but, it really looks like something else, just upside down
37:40
You what now._.
Did you try to make a rock golem?
Have seen people stun deathworms with fasolas sand attack think it also work with alphasđ€ wonder if it work with wyverns
Once yu start checking the mods out thereâs one that makes taming them faster
A mate and I once killed a titano on The Centre with a therizino and a giganoto we were taking turns and backing off to force heal meat/cakes but thats ASE so I really don't have any good info.
hey love your videos
Iâve been getting those color glitches at 39:35 all the time especially around caves to the point where the game is unplayable
Use the console command to remove the fog and it will fix it.
Did you know the kangaroo cannot jump backwards?
22:26 hahaha
That baby fasolasuchus looks like it could belong to Furafic Fark
You have control, but when you hit stuff, it diverts 90 degrees and you don't get control back for 2 seconds.
Me and my buddy have been playing scorched earth on a server on ps5 and the whole screen turning blue or green or red or black happens all the time, its some sort of visual bug with the fog/sand I believe.
It's weird, but you steer with the mouse, and it increases the lower the control bar is
How are you able to kill the unclaimed babies with your wolf? My game, it wonât let me do that so I have to claim the baby and then use my arrows to kill it.
