Great points. You have to drop music you love, but you still got walk that fine line to appeal to the new generation without compromising who you are as an old school artist. It's tough, but good music will always be good music. Good luck
@@curtis75black yeah that’s what I’m saying no of course the older people want it the youth don’t and that was Andre 3000 point that’s all I can’t wait to hear it
@@IDONTCAREWHATYOUTHINKPODCAST I believe the youth do want to hear the OG’s but they don’t know they do. It was like me growing up in the 80’s hearing Lionel Ritchie, Isley Brrothers and The Whispers. We didn’t know we will like it due to what was we into but the music was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. That’s all that matters. Andre to me is too scared to fail. He’s only a few months older than I am. He can rap about anything.
@@IDONTCAREWHATYOUTHINKPODCAST I agree with Curtis, they don't know they want it. Also, to be honest, LL don't need the youths' approval fr fr. He welcomes them with open arms, but his base is plentiful enough to keep him relevant. ijs...
4:05 You are WRONG! LL's supporters are definitely interested and eagerly awaiting this new album. Just like you find LL Cool J worth talking about in this video; dude, his followers find him worthy of dropping a new album and "blowing our socks" off!!! Look at it this way; the same people who are attending LL's concerts and turning those arenas 'out', and also those who are requesting that he travel INTERNATIONALLY to perform for them, are the same ones looking forward to this new album....BOOM!😊
