  • Thanks to my inspiration, shirt model, and occasional cinematographer Rodd Snook!
To make this Aloha Shirt, I modified the Colette Patterns "Negroni" shirt pattern to have straight side seams and a straight bottom hem. I only used one pocket with no flap, and I didn't add a collar loop. I also added side vents.

Thanks for doing that! Really helpful, and I ought to have thought of it myself. Will definitely do it on any future videos! :)

I have been making my husband's Hawaiian shirts for many years from a different pattern. I love the way you assembled this pattern making the facing and collar so neat! Very inspirational!

I'm curious what type and brand of interfacing do you recommend for this? I'm still learning the art of sewing and piecing together all the different information.

Enjoyed the video. Sorry for asking, as I am a beginner, but aren’t those finished seams more like flat felled than French? Nice looking shirt!🤙🏻

CZcams has a playback speed setting so you can watch .5x or .25x. On Fire Stick, it's in one place. On my phone, it's in another place. You just have to do a little hunting for it on your device.

I like the shirt. I do NOT like non-verbal videos where instructions should be spoken.
