@Naija Bias I suggest the Falcons play Korea Republic, Columbia and Germany as preparatory matches for the Olympics

Trust Super Falcons, they will surprise the world and the critics again. God Almighty is their strength and wisdom. Well done Coach, you have done well. Looking forward for more. God Almighty will continue to help and direct your decision makings in Jesus name. Your choice of 4-3-3 line up formation is helpful. Thank you.

    Congrats to the super falcons.
The team has proven solid since the world cup.
Conceded 4 goals in the last 14 matches and scored 23 goals.
This proves Waldrum has a solid defense but a goal shy attack.
Ihezuo is a breath of fresh air. She keeps the opponents defense on their toes.
Waldrum shouldn't call up any new player but rather work on his attackers.
A team that could qualify in that world cup group can definitely qualify in the olympic group

Europe, Asia, Africa and South Americas best female national team in the same group, that's just insane.

If Super Falcons survived the group stage at the Mundial against the defending Olympic champions Canada and the hosts Australia, then they'll be just fine against their Olympic opponents...

Let's stop deceiving ourselves, falcons are likely to be walloped left, right and centre at the olympics. The team isn't world class, they've been struggling to win matches lately. Let's celebrate the fact that they made it to the olympics, that's a huge milestone in itself. Let's allow them to have fun in Paris and not put unnecessary pressure on them. The olympic spirit is first about the joy of participation. Anything more is a bonus

I Think, all the players need is to ensure good and progressive play in their respective clubs and most importantly a good camping program in Europe for like 3weeks to foaster the team. They can engage in friendlies with little clubsides in camping region. But not grade A

Looking at all groups there isn’t any easy group in the Olympics to be fair, even group A has France, Colombia and Canada. We may have drawn with Canada in the World Cup, but beating them is another thing, Colombia is not a walk in the park either. So either way, if you qualify to be among the best in the world at some point you have to face the top dogs.

18 players...that will be hard for some players ...2gks and 16 players, obviously more of players who featured in the last 4 games will make it if they are in form and available.

@@samsonadeleke9925 This is exactly what people said when they played Morocco at the nations cup and lost, then they lost again to Zambia lol, too much pride. Brazil has been playing very well of late and going head to head even with team USA regularly within the concacaf region and holding their own. Of course we want them to win, but the team needs a good training camp season, their finishing is poor.

6 games 18 players not cool. Especially when they’ve got 2 days in between games and not 3. IOC should’ve made it 20 players at least

The coach pattern won't take them far because this team is different from that of the world cup, throwing long passes with one person in front just like super eagles over work osimhen

  • @senatoraguolu4773

We would be last on that group. I am not convinced @ all. We couldn't beat South Africa away and at home comfortablely.

  • @sterlingheightschildrenfou9096

With no clinical striker and no blend of home based players like Esther Oyenezide and Ajakaiye they would not go far.
