It's good that you had your videographer with you. The Bisti Badlands are not a place to wander alone!! Nicely done.
Ha! He didn't have any videographer with him - he WAS totally alone. He shot this video by placing the camera on a tripod, starting filming, and walking into the frame. If you watch carefully, you'll notice the camera is locked down and never moves an inch - except when his van is driving on the road, shot by a drone programmed to follow him. Look ma, no cameraman!
Lovely pastel sunset colors
Thanks for visiting. I love living here.
The Bisti Badlands, NM are an amazingly beautiful Adventure!! .. You also do amazing work !!
Beautiful images. The deserts of the Southwest are a Landscape Photographer's paradise. The magenta band at sunrise (and sunset) is the Belt of Venus.
Superb video.. amazing framing.. gorgeous colors, great music .. your videos are getting better and better every time you are outdoors Tod .. bravo
Love New Mexico! Lived in Las Cruces a few years. Enjoyed this!! 🤍🤍
505 Pride!
Thank you, Todd. Beautiful images. I have never seen images from New Mexico before and I really loved the muted colours of the landscape and sky.
Great photos! Great video! Thanks for sharing.
In this beautiful video, I felt that Im learning photography as if it was a rebirth, or a renew. Thank you deeply.
I have lived in new Mexico almost all my life and the beautiful bad lands here are amazing.and you captured the area so well
I'm from Santa Fe,NM,and you did a beautiful job with your photos! The area you were in is one of my favorite places to visit!🥰
Seriously good results here - and thank you too for your explanatory commentary. Yes, a great place to photograph!
A week or so ago I had something like one of your concerns here - getting my footprints in the frame. I struggled with this for a while - then figured I could erase them in post with Adobe's Generative Fill. (Had to get around the 1024x1024 limitations first, or course - but end result was flawless.)
@@chriscard6544 If you had actually followed the video you'd KNOW what the "footprint problem" I was referring to actually meant.
That was absolutely gorgeous!
beautiful location Todd! and really nice Rig too! Cheers man!
Thanks for not sharing...with a little research most people can find it. But for us SW photographers that go there frequently it's getting popular for its infrastructure.
A fine video, Todd. That occasional lining up of fore and aft elements within the frame is sometimes referred to as congruence by painters. Good that you noticed it while in the field, it can be a more serious problem when trying to fix while processing.
Gorgeous photography, thank you for explaining what you do. I always wonder why my pics come out looking pretty lame.
I would love to see a color grading/editing video of these images since I'm a fellow GFX landscape shooter in the southwest. Big fan of your final color/contrast look on these shots. Do you ever use Fuji film profiles as a starting point?
Those opening scenes look a little like the badlands of Wyoming.
Great work Todd, can we know what is the name of the opening song in your video ?
Beautiful spot, but hard to compose and light.
Sadly This location had large hoodoo that was photographed by a lot of people vandalized a few months back.
where is the location
where exactly other then New Mexico is that can you be a bit more specific ?
show on a map?
Looked like somewhere in the Bisti Badlands.
Hopefully he will not reveal the exact location. A good landscape photographer does not advertise the location.
@@sara505sings you gotta be kidding!!! don't reveal a location? oooo what am I going to do steal it??? wtf get a life
@@biancadupont2931 I received your nasty email. You hardly deserve a response but I will explain it to you. The reason many (most that I know) photographers do not advertise the location is so as not to create an influx of tourists to the area, in other words, to protect the pristine quality. No need for nastiness here.
New, very expensive camera. Same old boring dirt.
how true and it's mystery dirt
you gotta be kidding!!! Do not reveal exact location? wow. why post a video then for self satisfaction???
