Hi Phil I have experience that Australian red clay up in the glass house mountains sloppy as . So difficult & just grabs hold of ya. 5th trip over this year from the UK riding your trails & your mountain roads thanks for sharing your adventure . PHIL

Awesome final swimming spot after one crazy explore! That bike is just taking you to more and more places mate.
Tried exploring in there in 2020, got as far as the second crossing of the Never Never and the road was closed, as were a few more we tried.
It's a maze in there David! I'd found a great spot about 3 years ago, but no idea where it was this trip 🤷♂️. I'm sure there's great places to find, but too much for me- even on the little bike. Glad you've been there mate, it's a unique place hey 👍
My brother lived in Bellingen for some years and I have taken my kids swimming out at The Promised Land. Beautiful, beautiful spot!

I believe the river at Bellingen is the Bellingen River not the Nambucca
