The diversity in India is HUGE. In nearly every 100 kilometres, everything from top to bottom changes. Languages, landscape ( mountains, forests, deserts, hills, plateaus, and every landform you have read in your geography tb ), cultures, weddings ( Indian weddings are different for nearly every state) ,clothing ( even the way women wear saree changes entirely ), beliefs, thoughts, flora, fauna, food, crafts, etc etc etc
In fact even a single fruit such as a mango can have more than 1500 varieties and be diverse for every state. In India, if you ask the fruit vendor to give you 1kg mango, he will be confused. Because Indians chose the variety of mango ( beganphalli, langra, Alphonso, etc ) based on the use ( to suck, to chew, to eat, to cut, to drink, each use has a different variety ), texture, colour, taste ( sweet, sour, hot, etc ), longevity, region, season, etc.
This is just one example out of millions of examples out there that shows the scale of diversity in india

    Wedding is like
It takes more time than a Diwali Preparation and Celebration
From the time of Dates of marriage functions being announced to actual wedding day , preparation keeps going
And it's more than a month (minimum) for relatives
And for the actual family whose member is going to get married
It's almost a year of preparation
Unlike West where marriage is a joke
    They marry anytime
    At any age
    With anyone
    They breakup
    Then marry someone else
In India mostly marriage is a one time incident in the life of an individual
So we take it very seriously and almost all the money collected lifetime
We spend it during the wedding
    One time wedding obviously
    That's why so grand
    🙂
