Water supply that people don't think of, but is in walking distance for most is churchyards. They normally have an outside tap for doing the flowers on the graves. 😉👍

Thanks mate 💯 be surprised the amount of preppers urban survivalist that don't know what's on their doorstep or how to get through networks of alleyways to move from one place to another and as you rightly pointed out night time is hard work especially if you don't have bearings

Good info Dave. I'm engaged in little bits of recce when I'm walking to and fro my town. Spotting foraging opportunities too.
Going to go into the local library and Town Council Museum & Information centre too for some research to se what hidden resources there are.

Is there any markings on them steel lids to identify them?

Wow, those back alleys are really clean, my town uses them for fly tipping and general rubbish dumps 😞
On the map thing, most local tourist offices have local street maps that you can get for free, not down to alley level, but all the streets are shown and named.
Are you allowed legally down the tunnels, as in official guided tours ?

@@theurbansurvivalist1141 I'm not built for tight gaps 🙂
I shall have to have a look online to see if I can find the guided tour ones - Thanks
