How to plug in a lamp with no floor plug

Plugging in a lamp in the middle of the room with no floor plug can be a challenge. Some folks opt for rechargeable lightbulbs, some opt for cutting a small slit in the rug if your lamp sits on the actual rug itself. This is working fantastic for me & just wanted to share it.

Cord covers are sold at Lowe's. It comes in many colors to match the floor. Helps prevent tripping.
