Thank you very much for explaining how the features work! I couldn't figure out why my left controller had a blue light instead of the usual white one after pressing random buttons on it, even after reading the manual (my fault, I know), but thanks to you I finally understand and could properly undo it. Great video, also your Switch looks really cool with that Mewtwo skin!

This is fantastic. Now we don't have to sacrifice wavebird shells to make custom ones. Also, I agree with the triggers, the Xbox analogue triggers are by far the best ones out there

I find it a shame that the center piece doesn't have a usb-c port for charging.
Then, it can also be used to charge the regular joycons and even when this is used as a proper controller...
Agreed... it's nice that these charge while docked, but having two separate usb-c ports on each side isn't the best design.
Can you charge these in a joy-con docking station?

I had to return my left one as the analog was drifting to the right when I pressed up or down. Yep, drifting when in use. It was fine as far as the deadzone and idle but I couldn't get Mario to walk straight pressing up. I switched the octagonal gate out with the right side and it still happened. Was totally disappointed given the advertising says "never drift in a lifetime". The ZL button was also a little too loose. Shame as otherwise the controller is amazing but NYXI seem to have horrendous quality control issues.
They took this idea from Shank
Probably did lol... surprised it took 3 years for any company to start mass producing gamecube joy-cons
