For some reason I rushed through that part of the challenge and didn’t mention it. I’ve gotten a couple people who are curious about that. Just use that spot to paraglide where I was in the video.

This dude did a weird and dumb challenge and some how found things that could be used for speedruns
Actually with some pipes, ropes and ladders you can use them by just standing near them and holding down the circle button, you don't really need to jump and press the circle button to climb them.
Yes! That’s why I ruled those out in the beginning :)

I thought this was impossible, but eventually I found a proxy spot
Jump and press the circle button that's my trademark do a Google search on jump and press the circle button and it will bring up my games
Pretty crazy that there's only three missions in the whole game that are straight up impossible as far as we know
This was dedication!!!!! I loved watching this 😂 I've played this game hundreds of times, throughout my childhood up until a few days ago and I cannot believe that I've never thought of climbing up the water tower and jumping into the doorway instead of being thrown up there by Murray.

I once did an experiment in Sly 1 where I wanted to see if you could beat “A Cunning Disguise” without the barrel just to see if it was possible, you actually can do it and I dare anyone to try it

This should be fun, since A LOT of the missions and puzzles require you to use the master thief moves.
Amazing video, especially as Sly is by far my favorite franchise. Would be amazing to see you doing it with Sly 3, already seeing a difficulty, the very final boss fight when you have to hang under Doctor M's Spider-Machine, Good luck tho if you do it !

Just found your video/channel, and this was awesome! I think doing sly 3 would be cool, but i know that would be difficult. I enjoy these type of challenge videos, as its something I never thought of doing.

I know this challenge includes climbing, but just for the record if you stand close enough to a pole, while you're on the ground, and press circle; sly will automatically start climbing it.
I've sunk way to many hours of my life into this game... Enh worth it.

How did you manage the rajan boss fight in level 3? As sly it reguires jumping on poles
In the video I showed myself using feral pounce and a few other tricks to bypass it. It goes by pretty quick so keep your eyes peeled.
Have you tried it without cheats? I feel like that would be another beast without feral pounce

at ep 6 1st mission why u didnt did that train superjump glitch bruh
You can launch yourself in.the air and then press circle button, that technicaly becomes r1 where you paraglide and then circle when you are above
Just wanted it to be more challenging. Plus it wouldn’t of changed the outcome :P

Fantastic video, been wondering myself if it was possible for quite a long time. Well, now we know. But the room with the saw blades in the final episode, could be possible to pull off in some way that might not've been found yet.
Which I can try experimenting myself, but it'll be awhile before doing so.
The saw blades I’m almost sure is possible. Problem is it can take months of experimenting unless someone gets lucky. But like in episode 5, with some determination, it can be done

misled you. Goes over how and what he considers cheating but proceeds to use cheat codes to skip to the last chapter to obtain tools. That’s already cheating. FYI, you can’t make it past the intro without x+o. It’s why he skipped it. You can’t play sly 2 without x+o playing it legitly from start to finish without skipping & going back later.
@@AznTony360 He linked a video in a different comment section that's shows the proxi in the tutorial that allows him to skip all the rope walking/tutorial.

Honestly, I'd say that that one instance shouldn't count since it's basically a cutscene like in the first mission. If anyone disagrees, that's fair.

U can get on top of train easier by doing a glitch high jump onto one of the open doors and then just jump to the roof

20:14 Well technically if you find a proxispot from somewhere and you fly up in the sky and start gliding down towards the laser spot, you can stop gliding and fall to the point with only pressing circle button. Does this make any sense? :D
I never knew about that "triple jump" before this video, I did it in a recent replay of the series on my ps3, used it all the time, it's just so useful even for casual play.
Tried it in sly 3 and it didn't work, so I'm guessing it only works in sly 2.
Yeah unfortunately they fixed it for sly 3, but is very useful in sly 2 even in casual gameplay
What about the operation with rajan? Isn't there a section where you have to spire jump up to where he's at (by the big ruby) while he's shooting lightning at you with his big stick? That was the one part that came to me right off the bat that might be an issue.
I know it went by fast but I did show how I got up there. Spire Jump isn’t needed. If you go back and keep your eyes peeled you’ll see👍

For Iron Horse 2 in episode 6, with sly you can actually glitch high jump onto the door and then glitch high jump onto the top of the train car and skip everything that way.

Damn, all those proxy spots look so fun! As a kid, I only found one each on the Canada levels. One where you stand on one of the train's ice car when you get to the electric cave where the train leaves, and spam X right when Sly gets electrocuted. On the other Canada level, you go to the opposite end of the map from the safehouse where there is that one really small wheel spinning along the log river, the one at 17:58. You jump between that wheel and the wooden platform on top of the small round log part that spins the wheel as Bentley and hope you get launched. Those were fun. Not really useful at all, maybe, but still fun.
Oof, guess the 2nd one is completely useless, since the one you showed seems much better and more fun.
If you used the proxy to launch yourself into the air and then paraglided over and then hit the circle button, does that count as jumping and pressing the circle button? You didn't jump, technically
