Alone in Medellín Colombia? Bad Idea | Dos & Donts
In this Video I take you back to Medellín Colombia and show you around El Poblado & Parque Lleras. It was my first day back and I didn't know what to expect going solo. I also explain a few things to watch out for with some Do's & Don'ts (one of which isn't to go solo lol). This is the first of a series of videos from my trip so stay tuned.

I went to Colombia 5 times in 2022. Medellin 4 times, If you stay in Poblado you'll be safer than in most US cities. I worked in Newark, NJ and spent lot of time in Baltimore both far more dangerous. In reference to TInder don't use it if you dont have game. I use it all the time and met some amazing women🥰😍. Do your due diligence by simply asking for their Facebook & Instagram. If she says she doesn't have one it's probably a set up. What beautiful young woman doesn't have Instagram?😉🤣🤣by looking at her social media you can see if she's real. Also stay at a hotel NEVER an Airbnb unless you are a travel veteran and know people in Medellin because that's where and how they drug and rob you. Not to mention if you are dating someone who looks like she's in her early 20s and you find out she's under 18 you're never leaving Colombia because you will be in prison. The hotel provides security & they check or even take the girls Identification. Medellin is my favorite city in the America's.. you have very little to fear if you have basic street smarts😉

@@jxsilicon9 Yes..a lot of fake IDs but again I assume the hotel staff would know what the local IDs look like. But again checking their social media is VERY important. If she claims she doesn't have it she's probably NOT legitimate in many ways😉👍🏽

@@jxsilicon9 Definitely NOT saying that😲😲🤣🤣You're probably screwed either way. While I'm not at all familiar with Colombian laws, I would ASSUME showing a judge a convincing fake ID that was checked by several people including hotel staff is better than nothing.. and as I mentioned the increased level of security for most hotels alone makes the hotel worth the extra cost🤔

If you're vaccinated no, u don't need a negative test upon arrival, but you need to do the check-mig form online and bring your vaccine card just incase apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/public/preregistro.jsf

Went to Medellin alone last year without knowing any Spanish. Stayed there for about 3 weeks for you know what. I was fine but you have to be careful.

I am also in your shoes were a guy flaked on me in going to medellin so I am just going to go alone and I kind of don't want to go alone but fuck it. Did you take any tours? What would you recommend in things to go and places to see? Did you feel unsafe at all?

I felt on edge not unsafe. The first night when I was filming, but other than that it got better. Just stay in crowded areas and take a cab at night back home. Never walk. Graffiti tour in the day is cool.

My mans went out there last year and brought 3 of the baddest things you ever seen back to the crib for 2 bills😂 The airbnb had 24 hr security and checked the girls IDs so it was all good. Going out there in April with a group but definitely keeping my head on a swivel. Dope content my g’z

I was hitting up clubs like jennylao discoteca. its an afro Latino spot in an area called La setenta (70s street) the strip over there got alot of bars & clubs. But stay with the crowds and on that strip and don't venture off in back streets I heard. Also I have a video dropping tomorrow on the hotel I stayed at.

@Rattyboy "The Trini Traveler" It's beautiful, the only true issue that I experienced was the constant and aggressive vendors, they swarm on people like a pack of Wolves and will follow you for blocks trying to persuade you to buy their items.

I travel to Philippines and Thailand a lot myself. I’m Filipino-American so I feel comfortable in Asia so traveling there alone wouldn’t be a big deal. Props to you for traveling to Columbia alone. I don’t think I can do it 😂

250 USD in Lleras? 100 USD Max gets the Best delivered to your Hotel door and that's overpaying. You need to just tell them what you are willing to pay and what you want.

@@Rattyboy I believe you. Negotiate on Insta up front and have them come to your Hotel. Stay away from Pairs. You can't keep your eyes on both. Stay at a Nice Hotel with Security and keep all valuables in the Hotel in a Safe.
It's more in Gusto cause a portion goes to the club for letting them chill in there to party with the Simps willing to pay that much.

How was the trip
I stayed in Poblado . It was more safe then Mexico I would say. I should have stay in Laurels instead cause it would have been cheaper and more locals hang out there. Too much stuff was overpriced in el Poblado but it was a learning experience I guess. Bunch of escorts everywhere if that’s your thing . If you plan to get one don’t give them what they ask for always negotiate no matter how good she looks. Too many Americans are ruining it and go down there and now they asking for $100 for an hour.

I love the graffiti on the walls and the store gates it reminds me of my childhood in Brooklyn New York. If you want to protect yourself from scamming girls whenever you meet someone simply say I’m a foreigner and need to protect myself can I have your photo id so I can take a picture of it. If she says she don’t have it she’s lying to you because everyone carry’s there id in Colombia. Simple walk away from anyone who says they don’t have id. I’ve dated so many girls and none ever denied me there id.

There's more to it than that man. Just knowing how to speak the language is very beneficial in many ways, but it won't exclude you from getting "caught up". Far too many people who speak Spanish still end up in bad situations if they don't know what to look out for In that particular place. Being able to speak Spanish won't stop scopolamine Lol. In my other videos I go into more detail on what to look out for.

Your anecdotal experience shouldn't be given out as advice for others to follow. The general rule when telling people what to watch out for visiting there are those very apps.
You’ll run into a lot more problems if you get w a chick a lleras park. I would do totally the opposite you’re saying. You meet the chicks at the hotel and if it’s a good one they have cameras and security. If you can’t ver the girls out by asking questions, you have no business being there in first place.
