Disagree on the weakest dept.
Safety is pretty strong imo. FS: Pinnock is solid. SS: Belton is pretty solid, with Nubin coming in as basically a plug & play. Solid.
CB is a bit more of a question mark at LCB, but Flott has shown up in camp and Phillips should grow fast. RCB is solid with Banks. Depth is weak, but no way weaker than our OL-at least with the current set up of Runyan & JE in uncomfortable positions contingent on the "X Factor," who's barely that anymore after his recent injury setback. He's going to singlehandedly lose Schoen & Dabs their jobs unless Bricillo is an actual magician.
OL easily the weakest group.

I ain’t never loss faith in gray. I was so impressed with his flashes of potential in preseason and mid season last year. I’ve been seeing folks mention him a bit more this offseason, happy to know that he’s getting recognized but excited to see him get an actual chance bc there was no way he was seeing the field behind Barkley
I don't have much faith in Gray. He looked too slow to be that small. Tracy is probably ahead of him already.
You pick Andru Philips in the Third Round ! He better be the starting slot cornerback, otherwise we wasted the pick and could’ve had a much better rookie RB such as Wright.
Giants fans overreact, so if a 3rd rnd DB doesn’t start yr1 it is a wasted pick over a RB a position that is one of the least valued position ….yeah that definitely makes sense
Okay I’ll clarify my statement . Slot corner is a niche position in which we all ready had 2 in house guys of Flotte and Holmes. What we needed was a number 2 Corner.That Third round pick would’ve been better spent on1 of these guys TJ Tampa, Kyree Jackson, Jaylin Wright , OL Puni, ol zack zinter, Christian Haynes OL, RB Blake Corum. Etcetera. Etcetera , Etceter. Just stating the obvious here if you have watched this team these were better options at higher areas of needs.
They need to just let the guys play. On tht field is where u show what ur about. Give them an actual shot to showcase wat they can do. Focus on what they can do and stop talkin about what they cant

The pass rush is going to help the secondary big time. Banks will be fine, yes he looked like a rookie at times, but he also looked like a good rookie too.
Our roster I would say is sitting at around 27 or 26. We have potential but not production

I think we need to quit trying to put lipstick on a pig. Until we have a legitimate quarterback we are not contending. Plus this schedule is brutal. I don’t see us winning a single game against the AFC Central and we are probably going 1-5 against our own division. Better to take your small victories and let the talent you have develop this year.

The Giants unfortunately hire people to coach that don’t want to win. How do you fix the offensive line when you’re playing musical chairs, doing things again that don’t make sense, listen to the beat reporters, they questioned these decisions and Daboll got upset.4-13 season coming up and these offensive line decisions will be questioned all season

If your front seven of the defense is great, it doesn't matter who is playing in the secondary.
Comes down to coaching and game preparation. Put the players in position, and compete. How many times have we seen guy's leave and become fantastic. O line still stinks.... But you know how it is going to finish. ESPN has merit. But in the end I'm a giants fan. My hole life. Been there seen that. Just stay healthy and it works it's self out.

I believe Evan Neal is too heavy at 350 lbs. If he dropps to about 315 lbs., he might improve his balance and be able to stay in fron of whoever he is blocking.The word is he is top heavy, so maybe dropping 30-40 lbo will help improve his balance and he won't get burned so mcuh.
He's a total bust until he isn't. Year 3 coming and he's hot injured garbage so far. Belly up to the Last Chance Saloon, Evan, you're on the clock. I think we'll see Elueminor much sooner than later at RT, possibly for opener vs. Vikes even!
@@randsimon1313 Since I/we have no choice - he's a Giant - I'm rooting for him to be successful this season. But like you, I'm not optimistic. I still believe he needs to drop some weight - it's bound to help his oft injured ankles, which have been injured two consecutive seasons. At this point, I'm not so sure he'll be good enough to be a decent swing tackle. Ezeudu during OTA's and mini-camp has been working at this position. Wouldn't it be a kick in the head if Ezeudu works out at tackle and gets the starting RT job. Frankly, I don't care who is there, so long as they can play the position. The offense goes only as far as the O-line goes and I'd really like to see a competent O-line this season.

The way I see it, the Giants will not be able to stop the run yet again, unless they find a replacement for Leo Williams, who played well below his talent level. Teams will be able to run past Thibs and whoever they stick next to Dex all day long. MAYBE, our 5th rated LB's can pick up the slack in our new scheme, IDK.

More like 20 because of the trenches. Woefully weak except for Thomas and Dex. No two-down run stopper that I can see on this roster to play next to Dex. Riley? Perhaps, but I have big doubts. Ezeudu as swing tackle is a Giant reach. Let's grab one in FA and let EZ play backup guard, his most natural position. JMS needs to make a big step forward as well. So many "ifs", no wonder the Giants are ranked so low!
Could you imagine trading for let's say Quenton Nelson LG to play RG. That's how dumb the Giants are with all this positional versatility. The Giants would do that, lol.

The Giants average 15.6 points a game last year and we won 6 games should have been 9 if we had a offence,this year with a much improved O line with addition of free agents and the drafting of Nabers,with Hyatt,Robinson and Slayton,have one of the fastest receiving corphs in the NFL,and if DJ stays healthy,he proved in 22 he can carry a team which had very little talent.This team will go 9-8,don't believe all the shit you hear.
