Did Yu seriously just put his angel boyfriend above the entire human race (#mikayuu #yuumika stans stay winning), how long before The Family kill each other, and just how much of a scumbag /is/ Guren really? Spoiler: he's a grade A A$$hole.

UPDATE: I went back through the chapters, and I think chapter 39 clears Krul of any suspicion regarding the orphans’ deaths, as chapter 39 appears to be the first time she meets Guren.

Even in the first battle of guren vs mika, it was clear that guren was targeting mika from the beginning of the battle and even yelled at yuu for not killing “that one.” He was always aiming to kill mika
I don’t remember that! I actually wasn’t sure if Guren knew it was Mika in that battle- how would he have recognised him after so many years? Unless Ferid told him ‘aim for the tall, pretty blonde one’ 😅
I'm just so mad at Guren, Mika and Yu have gone through so much parents trying to kill them, Ferid killing their family Guren in on it, Yu saw Mika dying two times and now maybe a third time. They can't catch a break. #JusticeforMika
Oh lord, the fandom will riot if Mika dies again 😱 I definitely have a love hate relationship with Guren. He’s so diabolical and intelligent- and raging at him is so damn fun- but the other characters to date have never held him accountable! If Kagami actually starts to write the other characters in the story so they treat Guren as the villain and give Guren consequences, he might actually become one of my favourites 😅
Guren is very interesting dark grey character but Mika is my favorite he treats Mika very poorly it seems like Guren hates Mika for being Shikama Doji child. Mika is too pure for this world.
@@WolffyRiolu Oh definitely- Mika is best boy 💕 He deserves everything… ok, changing my answer- Mika will always be my favourite character in OnS, but Guren might become my favourite ‘villain’ by the end 😂

I wonder how they will manage to escape the dungeon now. We still do not know how strong Mikaela's powers are because in Chapter 108 when Yuichiro and Mikaela were merging to defeat Shikama Doji, He was like stop merging any further it isn't time yet because the other Angel's will notice them. So in the current chapter if Mikaela possesses Yuichiro again then the Angel's will notice them again right? and in (Chapter 96) Krul said that she will teach the squad all about the enemy but she only talked about Mahiru that time. 🤔
Also what happened to Ashera and Noya?, I just remember that Yuichiro turned Ashera into His Cursed Weapon Gear then after that he completely disappeared. And what happened to Noya?! if we cannot see him now then we can see him more in the Flash Back of the (Ancient Greece Time). And what about Mitsuba's demon we do not know anything about her demon other than the name and she barely gets any lines. 😅
I feel like Mitsuba's Demon is a complete mystery.
Yeah I wonder how strong Mika will turn out to be... I seem to remember he was about to use that attack, 'Pandemonium' against Shikama when the angels interrupted. We never saw what it could do, but it looked very scary ^^' Good point- if Mika does possess Yu, it will probably draw the angels' attention again... I want to see Yu calling upon the seraph power and at the same time using Mika's demon powers.
Yes, in 96 Krul said 'as of now, I say Shikama Doji is your enemy'- but you're right, she didn't go into any detail, she basically just labelled him as 'The Enemy' and the squad went along with it.
Regarding Ashera, we don't know- I'm assuming he's sealed away inside Yu. If Yu goes back to talk to Ashera, it would be a very good next step, because Ashera said the black demons 'had reasons' for going after Mika in 102 but Yu never let him explain (because Ashera was also 'The Enemy' lol). Noya, I can't quite remember- didn't Mahiru absorb him or something? I'd love to see more of Noya in Ancient Greece.
Yes, Mitsuba's demon is still a complete mystery! We need to see it.

Very good point that killing the orphans may have been a way to get Yu to buy into the resurrection plan!
I am somewhat struggling to piece together who knew what information and planned what at what time. Slightly off-topic, but I'm only new to reading the manga--was there ever any discourse back in the day about whether or not Guren knew had Mika survived (and had become a vampire) throughout his initial years with Yu? I'm wondering if this chapter suggests this possibility, given Guren withholds his plan from Yu due to Mika being a conflict of interest (I imagine Yu would have otherwise been on board with the plan, even if it did involve him as collateral).
Mika knows Yu survived from Ferid, who I assume learns his fate from Guren; I imagine that information would have flowed the other way as well.
If Mika is factored into Guren's plan from the beginning, it does change the nuance of the scenes between Guren and Yu when he is struggling if Guren was always privy to Mika's being alive.
But I could be forgetting some detail that suggests Guren was also in the dark...I think that Ferid announces to Mika that Yu has been found with the humans at the end of the first volume of the manga (?), so I'm not sure if he and Guren discuss Mika and Yu much before this point. It's hard to keep track!
Omg same, piecing together who knew what is an nightmare. I got Krul’s involvement straight up wrong in this video. She didn’t know who Guren was until chapter 39.
I don’t recall any discussion from Guren about Mika’s fate (makes sense that the manga was silent on it, because otherwise that would have revealed that Guren was plotting against Mika the whole time)- l I would also assume that Ferid kept Guren updated about Mika. As I say, I think they both planned it so Mika would be turned into a vampire by Krul to save him from his injuries, to one day become a demon. Guren probably deliberately concealed Mika’s survival from Yu so that Yu could move on emotionally and build stronger bonds with his squad compared to Mika, so when the time came then he would choose reviving humanity over Mika’s resurrection. I think Guren doesn’t know exactly how deeply Mika and Yu are connected- he certainly doesn’t know about their psychic link from Ancient Greece.

I agree that Guren has underestimated Yu and Mika's connection, which seemed like a big oversight to me, but I had totally neglected that that he likely does not know anything about the Ancient Greece happenings
One will be cursed with eternal life. I wonder if it's random or if they can choose who it will go to. I presume Guren can't take it again and he did say to Yuu you'll end up cursed like me, perhaps Guren is planning for Yuu to take the immortality. Notice how he says people & not human, also it would keep mika away from his Dad.
The immortality thing is really interesting- with Yu being mc you’d naturally think it would be him, but who knows… also, I’m no longer as afraid that Guren is immortal! A wise soul in Reddit pointed out that Guren is still ageing so we have hope 👍
One problem I see with Yu choosing Mika is that essentially he’s just doing what he was created by Doji to do to save Mika playing into his hands and getting what he wants. Yeah it will be on Yu’s terms but they are literally playing into his hands which they have trying to prevent all this time only for him to get what he wants in the end by getting Mika revived. From Guren’s perspective probably choosing Mika means just wasting all their efforts of trying to stop Doji. Though in reality this is really crappy situation. Yu is really just a pawn in everyone’s game. Also the fact if Yu chooses Mika almost every character will be out for him because Urd and Saito are trying to prevent Mika’s resurrection as well as you need 7 sinful keys. 6 of them are accounted for but one is still missing. The last one is probably in Yu and the conflict going forward will probably be everyone trying to get their hands on him.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Yeah it’s a very crappy situation and the boys aren’t yet able to make free choices for themselves. They don’t have enough information yet about their past and their powers, or the details of anyone’s Plan.
I think Yu and Mika need to find a third option. For example, I don’t think restoring /human/ Mika is what Shikama Doji wants- so if Yu can make that happen, then he actually escapes being a puppet for both Guren AND Shikama. 🤔

Yay, I’m actually really nervous for 115 🙈 And yesss the new cover is gorgeous! 💕 I honestly thought we’d get Yu and Guren seeing as the focus on the most recent chapters was on them, but instead we got Mika front and centre. Yamamoto knows what we want 😘
History
I think Krul and Ferid fighting is just a plothole and Kagami didn't really think that far ahead. The plan makes no sense why not just make Mika a demon immediately as a kid instead and seal his weapon away. Also missed opportunity in not having Narumi in the scene with the coffins he was a great character and I appreciated him a lot for actively engaging in discussion with Mika and hearing him out. I predict that There will be a fight for a while but Mike realises that Yuu is either hurting on the inside or is in physical danger and takes over his body to negotiate with Guren. Also I saw that in your older videos you were asking whether or not Mika knows that Guren sliced him open #JusticeforMika I think Mika has so little self esteeme that he doesn't actually care to hold Guren accountable for that which is sad
Thank you so much for your thoughts! It’s very confusing isn’t it… I thought about that too- why didn’t they make Mika into a demon as a child and why did Krul bother training Mika to defend himself? I thought of some possibilities- there was nobody suitable to take on demon Mika back then. Guren already has Mahiru and Noya as demons so a third would be too much for him (Mika is The King so very powerful). If they wanted to one day bind Mika to Yu, they needed Yu to mature enough so that he could handle Mika. Also I think Mika was bound into his own vampire sword- I’m not exactly sure how long it takes to make a cursed gear weapon but I thought it took ages to make the physical weapon itself viable. Maybe Mika needed to actually use that weapon for a length of time to be successfully bound into it.
Haha, I try to include the #JusticeforMika in every reaction, not sure if I forgot it in 114 😅 I’m also afraid that Mika might remember and doesn’t have enough self esteem to challenge Yu on it, but I’m still hoping Yu is hiding the memory- otherwise what else could be the point of that scene in 110 where Yu is shown to be able to block memories from Mika? Unless it could be memories from the past that Yu is hiding… 🤔
Gosh yes, Narumi should have been in this chapter! He was in Ferid’s mansion earlier looking at his dead squad and wanted to revive them. Kagami must have put him on a bus to Timbuktu 😢
Krul pretty much admitted to Mika that she wasn’t on his side and at the same time said she doesn’t know what Ferid is planning. Krul had a deal with Mahiru and Guren. She never plotted anything with Ferid and we know Ferid is plotting with Guren. When she attacked Ferid at the start of the manga and said she would kill him if he tried to make a hole in her plan. She was being serious I think.
Thank you! Krul's attitude from earlier on in the story is the most confusing thing to puzzle out- a part of me still wants to have faith in her that she genuinely wants to save Mika and she wasn't on board with killing the orphans. I definitely agree that her attitude towards Ferid came off as genuine to me too on first examination- if it WAS acting, she did a hell of a job. So, do we think that Krul and Ferid were independently following Guren and Mahiru's Plan of BS?
Another part of Krul's behaviour that doesn't make sense- in 96 she challenged Yu prove that he genuinely wants to save Mika (Yu bows) only for Krul to stab Mika metaphorically in the back in 114 when Yu has to choose between Mika and humanity.
@@ARTEMIAZ They had to of been following it independently wouldn’t make any sense if they were fighting each other at the start and also Ferid sucking Krul dry and almost killing her. However, Ferid is the one that I am getting frustrated about. I have this feeling that he doesn’t really care but I also think he’s planning to put a stop in everyone’s plan 😂. Also I really want Yuu to escape with Mika it will be interesting to see were that goes if they do. Shikama said that he plans to save the world as well and also said reviving Mikaela using the 3 steps means nothing will happen to the world. I wonder if he is planning to somehow resurrect his son and revive everyone at the same time. Or maybe he has to revive Mikaela because he knows that there’s angels coming to destroy the world and Mikaela knows how to beat them. I’ve noticed that everyone’s goal apart from Krul and Ferid is to pretty much save the world.

@@yuki1250 Ah, with the stabbing in the back, I meant because in this chapter, Mika asks Krul if her interests align with theirs (Mika and Yu’s) and she basically says no 😢 She’s going with Guren’s plan- it seems that she expected Mika to give up his chance to be revived in order that Guren can do the resurrection and then Krul can get Ashera back… not sure how Ashera can actually come back under Guren’s plan yet tho. He hasn’t explained the fate of the demons yet. 🤔
I still really want to have hope for Mama Krul. 😢 I hope Ashera will be able to explain things to Yu, and maybe that will give Yu and Mika, and the vampires as a whole, another option.

Yes it’s a good point- he never knew that revival was an option until very recently, but his sister’s death has always been at the core of his motives (like his revenge on Lacus), which is why I thought he’s likely to oppose Yu. It’s definitely not guaranteed though. I don’t want my evil little cinnamon roll to become Yu’s enemy 😭
