The more of your videos I watch, the more I am liking this project.
Happy to hear that! ☕️
Nice video, will be right in the guides section next! Thanks for another great contribution Chris!
Glad to help! ☕️
Great video Chris. Even though i own an Awair device, was glued to this. Such a simple way of presentation.
Glad you enjoyed it! That is my goal: informative videos in a easy to follow mode ☕️
Can't wait to purchase mine
always something unique something helpful in your videos
thanks!
Very good video.
Thank you Chris 4 everything!
My pleasure! ☕️
Great video. Keep it up!
Thank you! ☕️
Excellent video!!
Thank you! ☕️
Looking forward to get my type 3 sensor and your video for the setup :)
Coming soon! ☕️
How much did the Airqino cost? If you can share
Hi Chris, what junction box do you use, and how big is the power brick? Thanks!
you are the best always bro :))
Thanks! ☕️
Thank you 🙏
Happy to help ☕️
Fantastic video! Look forward to seeing your mining reports in the future!
Hey, thanks for the great video. How much electricity does the sensor use? Cost wise?
Great video again! Looking forward to seeing you monetized, mate! Cheers. PS: Also looking forward to your earnings update videos ;)
Much appreciated! ☕️ Yeah, I will do that after T3 and Awair Element onboarding

@@MyPassiveHunt thank you! For my Airqino earnings video, I will give you a shoutout!
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee Much appreciated! I'll get mine around January 😌

Hi Chris, thanks for the video. Is the most straightforward way of installing power to simply have an outdoor outlet so you can literally plug and play?
Yes! Than use a waterproof junction box to store the power brick as that is not IP66
What is the size of the power brick? Going to order a few waterproof cases.
Longshot- been trying to get my type 1 working for 10 days now. Rapid flashing from both red and green leds. Not much help from PW...any ideas?
Super
Mersi! ☕️
Hi Chris, thanks for the very informative video on Airqino. Question: Is there a way to check if a particular location for the sim card inside the Airqino to work properly? Is this sim card compatible with mobile service areas such as T-moblile, ATT, or Verizon? This is just a check to avoid the fuss of return/refund, that's all. Thanks.
From what I know and what I understood from the AMA, Claudio was referring to locations that don't have any kind of network coverage. The SIM connects to the best network available as it uses a Global Service provider that has contracts with all of them
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee What about deploying a Type-1 sensor outside both the EU and US? Will the internet plan still work? Or is it possible for me to install a sim card from the local carrier?
Hello Chris, thanks for the informative video. I have a question that i hope you can answer. I plan on mounting my airqino in a open balcony. The only thing is, although the balcony is opened it has a roof and sidewalls. So it's basically a box with only one side opened. Do you think this would be an issue to get banned from planetwatch? Also how loud is this device (thinking of my neighbours) ? Thank you, and keep up the videos ! :D
I would not see your setup as a problem. Better to open a ticket and make sure that is ok like that. If not, just mount it on the balcony walls like you would a TV satellite dish. It makes no sound, it's dead quite ☕️
Hi Chris, great video... Would you happen to know of a solar panel/battery solution which can power this 24/7 please?
Sorry, no ideea. Talk to feralfeather on Telegram. He experimented with that
Great video! How often do you have to send it back for calibration?
Thanks! It depends: it could be 1 year, it could be 3 years. The more polluted the air is, the more the sensors will get worn
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee I see, have they said who is to pay for that yet?
Hello Chris. We should see the sensors in pw explorer only after activation?
Yes
Hello Chris … How u doin and u how u doin with PlanetWatch type one !!!!
BEFORE ANYTHING I WANNA SAY BIG THANK U CHRIS FOR ALL INFORMATION U GIVE US I really apricated thank u so much.
yesterday I have buy the licenses of type one and I am wondering when they will inform me about buying the AIRGINO ?
from day one when u buy the licenses in till the day u received the AIRGINO how long time u have been waiting ?????
133 Planets each day. Had a power outage but because i use an UPS, my Airqino didn't drop a single transmission
Great video... Do you know if it will worke in the middel east? Because the sim card maybe its different??
It currently does not work in middle-east. Hope this will change in the first part of 2022
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee
Thank you man... Yes it will be a huge progress to the networke if they allowed it in the rest of the world
Does Airqino needs sensor modules like Sensedge Mini, or does it use any disposable material for later maintenance
It will need to be send back to the lab for recalibration. And when it will depend on how polluted the air is where you place the sensor. The more polluted, the quicker it will wear the internal sensors
Thanks for another great video! Quick question any way to get Planets now in US, before we have an exchange available? Maybe you can sell me some direct?
Unfortunately not. Only by rewards or direct sale right now. I can't do selling/buying
Hey, love your videos, wanted to ask, maybe you do this as well, for one account can you purchase multiple licenses for type 1,2,3,4? Or is it better to create new accounts and get individual licenses for certain types? If you can get multiple licenses on one account and then you get the multiple devices, how do you set up all under the same account? Is this the case where you email support team? Also, would you set up using one phone and go one by one for each device? Really just don't want to get licenses and devices under the same account and then run into issues later on? Any help is appreciated, thank you Chris!!!
I asked the same thing on a previous video, I know now that you should be alright in buying multiple licenses under the same account. You would have to contact the support team like Chris did on the email to transfer the license to your Algorand wallet.
@@cybersamurai99 Thank You, I know this has been a difficult question and has been difficult to get a response because a lot has been shipping out and Awair is not set up yet.
Yes! All licenses under the same email. It's the only way you will see all your sensor like I do in the last part of this video (Explorer -> Sign in -> My Sensors). Then, you can have multiple wallets for them or only one wallet. But definitely I recommend same account
Chris, do you know how often the Airquinos will need to be recalibrated? And will PW pay for the shipping and recalibration? Also, are there any other PW devices that need to be recalibrated?
It will depend on each situation. As a ball park: every 1-3 years depending on how polluted the air is. The more polluted, the greather the wear on the internal sensors. Yes, they will cover all the costs. With Type 3 we also have calibration. Basically any scientific level sensor requires recalibration
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee 👍
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee How long are you down due to calibration if you are in the US...estimate? I assume you get no income will sensor is down for recalibration...correct?
Another Informative Video! When you get invited to purchase the Airline, must you pay with Planets, or in Euro?
Planets only
As if you couldnt guess
Hi, does the type 1 sensor need to be placed high up? what is the minimum height?
Thanks
We don't have a guideline for minimum height so far. Just make sure it is outside and not near a chimney or anything else that will mess with the measurements
Can you use an outside outlet for the airqino 👀. Or should I say what junction box should I buy for outdoor setup
Yes you can! Just put the power brick in a junction box that is waterproof(as the power brick is not meant for outside use) and you will ge golden!
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee awesome thanks !!!
does it come with that bracket? I bought usa license number was like 900+ any idea how many they have set for USA
same box. And yes, it comes with the bracket, the pole hooks and the screws for the wall. Here is my unboxing video: czcams.com/video/ZD_iVPimyII/video.html
Hi Chris ) this sensor works with wi-fi from home? or does it has an independent sim as I understood, so if it has a sim do we need to pay extra data for internet 4G? (Europe region) thank you, how does it connect?
It works with it's own SIM card and the data plan is payed with the license. When you onboard the sensor and tell PW the serial number of the sensor they will know which SIM card to activate
Can I have a Type 1 and a Type 4 sensor at the same address? (e.g. Argino and Awair Element) Or will the Argino be Tier 2?
Yes, you can. Tier 1 and Tier 2 are fixed locations and only count for Tier 1, Tier 2
Hello, after buying the license, how long does it take to receive a device. Is there a certain time period for it?
Hi, Isaac! Yes, there is. If you are to buy the license today, it will probably be Q3 2022. But PlanetWatch will onboard new sensor early next year so I assume that the waiting time will be shorter than that
Bravo Cristi, what’s the waiting time for the US Arquino sensor?
Does your location affect reward levels? For instance, would placing one in a small town be less profitable than placing one in a large city?
Yes. The reward is categorised in 2 locations: Tier 1 (in it will produce 133 Planets) and the rest locations are Tier 2 (it will produce 66 Planets). In order to see where your place falls into, go to map.planetwatch.io and search for your city. Then zoom until you see the grid (at least zoom level 11). The Tier 1 button will become enabled. Click it and any pixels that become purple are Tier 1 areas while rest are Tier 2
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee Thank you.
Nice video, man. Is it worth to boy 1 Awair sensor right now? Do the Awair needs to be calibrated? What I should say to my parents, that they don't think it's "A SCAM"?
I do believe it is still worth it. You can watch my first video and give them these arguments: czcams.com/video/kC_eTpV1npk/video.html
HI Chris! How does the sensor communicate with Planet watch? Does it connect to the wifi?
Yes, it does with the buit-in SIM card. And the data plan is already payed by us when we pay the Type 1 license
Sweet thanks, can you do one for AWAIR?
Yes! For using the Awair Element as an air sensor I already have one: czcams.com/video/40_ZZWdxhaI/video.html For the PlanetWatch onboarding it will come in October, when they will make it possible
Bro In the explorer it’s obligatory to creat the account whit the email that I bought the license ?
Yes. That how the system knows what licenses you have
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee and i Can “transfer” a license to another account ?
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee and when I bought my license automatically I am on the waiting list (thanks for all the information, love your Chanel)
@@Natha_c PlanetWatch does not support license transfers at the moment. They said it might happen under some strict rules and a fee but I wouldn't count on this
@@Natha_c yes. You can check the estimation of when you can buy the sensor using the Batch tool: czcams.com/video/4LsQwbvv73M/video.html
where we can make a wallet for this coin? the planet watch have the wallet?

Hi Chris, if I buy a Airqino license for 1 year, would it be easy to renew my license after it expires?
Yes!
What do you mean send it back to recalibrate it ? Do we need to send it back even if everything is working ?
Yes! In 1-3 years(depending on how polluted your area is - more pollution, more tear on the internal sensors, quicker needs recalibration)
hey Chris is the airqino usable in Australia, 8 have a type 4 already, should I buy the license and join the waitlist
Right now it isn't usable. But people who buy the first licenses will be the one that get to buy the first sensors when they will be available there. PlanetWatch told us a couple of times that they are looking to onboard another sensir as a Type 1, one that already has worldwide certifications
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee I meant if I am eligible being in Australia that is the sensor certified for use
hmm i would need to install this in a way less invasive matter at my locations. i cant be drilling holes in walls
It's a little complicated, indeed. If they have outdoor outlet it would be the easiest
happy mining Chris
Thanks ☕️
Is it possible to place them inside the Awair (type 4) house and Airqino (type 1) outside or do they have to be in two different locations?
Absolutely! You can have one sensor of each type on the same location
and does not affect the rewards?
@@isaacquesada229 No, outdoor and indoor provide different sets of data. And between them (T1 - T2; T3-T4) they do cross-reference of the data. That is why they allow one sensor of each type in the same place. It provides useful data
How do we know when its time to send our Airqino back for recalibration?
they will probably tell us
what does this do? it tells you what your outside air quality is? what about inside?
Yes! Only for outside to be used. It measures PM2.5, NO2, O3, CO
Hello. What does the measures on the sensors mean? Most have 289 measures. What role do they play?
Do you mean data streams?
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee I don't know if these are data streams or not. In the video at 6:24 under historical data month is measures 12 .
@@zakarmusaev28 Yes, those are data streams sent to the network. The idea is that this will not be a one-time measurement. Because weather, wind speed and direction, rush hours influence ALOT the pollution level on each street(yes, you can have one street with less pollution and the next one being a hotspot of nasty air), we need real-time and over the course of many days/months data. Only with such data PlanetWatch can have valuable data, analyze it and sell it
send it back to recalibration? how often do i need to do this?
Between 1 to 3 years, depending on the situation. The heavier the pollution, the more tear on the internal sensors and the quicker it will need to be recalibrated
that is so cool. Where can you buy this device in the USA?
check the pinned comment. It has all the info you need
Salut, Super video. Care ar fi timpul de livrare a unui Airqino in Europe? Merci.
Mersi! Sunt produse in Italia. Daca cumperi acum o licenta, undeva in ianuarie-februarie
Hi, thanks for the video. But this sensor is not for us. It is only available in limited countries. When do you think that it will be available for global launch.
PlanetWatch talked a few times on searching another sensor to be onboarded as Type 1 that already has international compliance. More than that, I do not know
How long did you wait after you bought the license to receive the sensor?
2 and a half months. But I was in the first batch when they weren't so requested like they are right now
How long does it currently take to get a sensor? I’m told there are many people on a waiting list..
About 10-12 months with the current schedule. But I strongly believe they will onboard a new sensor soon and that will drastically reduce the waiting time
can u put airquino under heavy snow?
It works at North Pole, I'm sure it will work under heavy snow
What do you mean "sending back the airquino for calibration"
What kind of calibration is done and when does this happen?
They will change the internal sensor as they wear out in time. It depends on how polluted the air is. The more polluted, the fast the recalibration must be done. From what I know, it can be from 1 year to 4 yeasts. PlanetWatch will notify us when this need to be done and they will take care of it (if you buy the Airqino from them)
How much did it took for you to get it after you purchase ur lincense
About 2 and a half months
Great video!
I have two Type 1 sensors arriving soon. I would like to give one to a family member for her to have 100% of the income. She lives far away (but also in the UK) so I can’t visit her to set up or maintain the sensor.
Can I just send her the sensor & leave her to set it up, using her email address (it was bought using my address), with PLANETS paid into her wallet?
Thanks for any advice.
So nice of you! Well, you can let it handle the installation as you can remotely handle the onboarding part. You need to create her an Algorans wallet with Planets enabled and give that along with the serial number of the sensor to the PW team. Once you add the license asset( the team will guide you), she will receive the rewards in that wallet. You just give her rhe 25 words needed to import the wallet
@@ChrisCryptoCoffee Thank you for your advice. Much appreciated.
