Why do you think so, man? Like there is no guitarists that play with fingers or do the same techniques that bassists do. Not a lot, but they are real and play pretty good, I should say. I am quite a mediocre bass player, but I play guitar pretty good.
.. fingerstyle... picking ...sweep picking ..hybrid picking ...harmonics .....and more....
Also its like saying violin players are not needed because we have a cello...
There is a point for having different tools for specific parts.....
Also since she is plaing higher strings one might say the same about bass if a guitar player played it ..

If I were there, it would’ve been impossible for me to not let out a sporadic “urghhh” as that was going down..😅 would’ve pulled my meanest most double chin inducing bass face, to boot. Love and respect from 🇬🇧
