    Did you know cinnamon keeps ants away? Tried n tested. In my old house I'd sprinkle it under garbage can and recycle bin and anywhere I noticed ants marching in their line. Pets (to the best of my knowledge) aren't harmed if they should lick some. I think after the first taste they won't want anymore lol. Never harmed my 2 (small) dogs. Just thought I'd put it out there 😊 and thanks for all the helpful hints.

    Curious- What is it in baking soda that kills the the roaches affter they consume it then water! does this substance become a somewhat throthing agent once mixed with water inside the roaches, causing the roach to explode from inside out!! as I asume it may do!
    I haven't tryed this mixture but im keen to!😊😊

    • @swikritimandal9223
      @swikritimandal9223 Před 7 lety +2

      baking soda creates gas inside the stomach and makes it to burst leaving them dead... this is for small insects..

    • @Blime2913
      @Blime2913 Před 7 lety +1

      Ok great! Thanks for the reply 😊. I assumed it caused an explosion somehow thanks to a reaction of sorts! Futher more-
      So the residial substances left in the dead also continues to Wipeout the living population of roaches thanks to them the consuming the dead!. This indeed seems like a smart way to tackle any roach or bug problem- Yes!.😊😆

      Swikriti Mandal Also curious! Im not sure any ants usually eat there dead! But could a baking soda & sugar bait block control a nuisance ant/ bullant or jumping jack colony maybe!
      I have problem also with numerous species of ant aswell in the yards an perimeter of my homestead and other rental properties, But I dont won't to splash on a small fortune on potentially hazardous chemicals left in the grounds for extensive periods! 😊😊...

    • @swikritimandal9223
      @swikritimandal9223 Před 7 lety +1

      *K a r l V e n e s s* .. Yes dear it will ..
      Mix equal parts of baking soda and powdered sugar. Place small amounts in areas you expect ants to locate, including suspected points of entry or frequented hangouts. The powdered sugar is used to bait the ants, as many species of ants are attracted to sweet food sources. The baking soda is what kills the ants. Specially in summers ants are instant unwelcomed guests.. So this can shooo them away.. 😊

      Yes, you should never take too much. It will throw off the pH throughout the body. A little is good for the kidneys however when there is an acidity problem. 💚
