"Woo hoo, woo hoo woo hoo!"
"Anyone for tennis?"
"That's a joke, son."
"I'm a chicken hawk. I'm after chicken."
"Bad old putty tat!"
"Yeah, yeah, sure, sure!"
Bugs Bunny said it best though.
Pepe Le Pew: 'Allo Baby, Le female skunk she play hard to get, no?
"Duck Season, Rabbit Season!" To this day, I still quote that line.
*FIRE!!!*
"Rabbit season." Duck season, FIRE!! BOOM!
"You're despicable!"
"And you're a dirty skunk!"
"I'm a dirty skunk?! I'm a dirty skunk?!"
Bugs holds up sign, "Dirty Skunk Season"
BLAM!
It's baseball season!
Me to
1:07 That Marvin the Martian impression was perfect.
Meh my stepmom can do it better. She can flawlessly imitate Marvin the Martian. In fact, she can practically say ANYTHING in that voice and still sound like him. And no, that’s not her usual voice 🤣
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWordsmeh doubtful
Rebecca imitating the characters while saying the catchphrases are hilarious 😂🤣 you can tell she had a lot of fun
I really really did!!!
@@WatchMojoLadyI thought the same…also, you did a great job on this one..👍🏼
@@MikeyBats Thank you 😭
“What’s up Doc?” -Bugs Bunny
Mel Blanc is definitely one of the greatest voice actors an animation history!
He pretty much helped create Looney Tunes. Without him doing his research and studying with different sounds it wouldn’t have been so great.
Every child from the 40s through the 80s knew his voices. Mr. Blanc was a huge part of my childhood routine of watching cartoons in the 70s and 80s. Thank you Mel for everything.
They need to show more reruns of the cartoons
I couldn't agree more. He was the man of a thousand voices. His passing literally left Looney Tunes speechless.
I AGREE!!!! The GENIUS of MEL BLANC!!!!!
Every time I travel, I go "Did I remember to take that left turn in Albequerque?"
me too
3:10 I always thought it was, "Meep, meep!"
It WAS!!!
These catchphrases will never not be forgotten.
My favorites are "Rabbit season, Duck season" "left turn at Alburquerque" "hug him, pet him, squeeze him, call him george" "Ain't I a stinker and "you know THIS means war"
The narrator had too much fun imitating those! :)
“What’s up, doc?” is so iconic!
"Ain't a I stinker?" and "What's Up Doc?" that Bugs and "That's all Folks!" that Porky says are my favorites.
You missed “Of course you know, this means war” 😂😂
My own honourable mention would probably be “AAAAAAHHHHH SHADDAP!!!”
These catchphrases are what makes these characters so memorable and timeless
1. Eh... What's up, doc?
2. Shhh. Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits
3. Beep, beep
Speedy Gonzales is my all time favorite Looney Tunes' character
yeah bugs bunny number 1
Yes & Pepe Lapew
“My name is Wile Coyote….Genius”
No it’s Wile E. Coyote Super Genius 😜
Coyote & Road Runner were always my favorite Looney Tunes.
THANK YOU! Till now i didn't know the Abominable Snowman had a name! Hugo so fits
Your imitations are great! One of my faves is "As you know, this means war!"
Mine too!
I like it better in the episode “Bully for Bugs” when Bugs Bunny was, quite literally, rear-ended by a bull in Mexico and went flying a dozen feet in the air and he did a “play on words” by saying “Of course you realize…This. Means. WAR!!” That always leaves me and my brother in stitches
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWords - how about Long-Haired Hare with the conductor!!! OMG!!!
Bugs: What’s Up Doc
Daffy: You’re Despicable
Elmer: Shh! Be very very quiet, I’m hunting Wabbits.
Porky: That’s all folks!
Roadrunner: Meep, Meep!
Foghorn Leghorn: I say I say
Marvin: This makes me very angry
Yosemite Sam: Rassin, Frassin Rabbit
That was a really good impression of Marvin the Martian😂❤
My Honorable Mentions
"Of Course You Realize This Means War"
"AAAHHH SHADDUP!"
"Duck Season, Rabbit Season"
Thank goodness I took that left turn in Albuquerque and ended up on this video 😊
I couldn't remember where I got " I will hug him and squeeze him" from, it's Hugo ❤❤
That was the abominable snowman squeezing Bug Bunny on the moon in SPACED OUT HARE.
Pepe Le Pew - Oh my Darling! You are so beautiful! (Force Kiss)
Granny - (Her Laugh)
Nasta Canasta - Evil Grin with Growl
Rocky - Shut Up
Mugsy - Hey Boss.
Yosemite Sam saying "When I say Stop, I mean STOP!"
I love bugs bunny's catchphrase "What up doc"
Brings back so much childhood memories...
"Duck Dogers in the twenty fourth and a half century!"
I'm looking for the Daffy Duck cartoon where he gets in to his rocketship, pulls a lever and the ship lurches backwards, then he says "I had the silly thing in reverse!"
@@kiwitrainguy That's the one I believe, where Daffy has to fly to Planet X and encounter Marvin the Martian. You can search this quote "Duck Dogers in the 24th 1/2 century!".
I do like Bug's "Ain't I a stinker" line
I love these cartoons they will live on forever
Ever since my sister's boyfriend nicknamed her Bunny, I've used "Be Vewy Vewy Quiet, I'm Hunting Wabbits" just to get on her nerves
🤣🤣🤣
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWords even her daughter, aka my niece, gets in on the act
The impersonations throughout are [chef's kiss]
... except for Taz's wonderful gibberish. Hopes dashed, that's all I can say.
What's Up Doc? Is my favorite 😂
"AAAHHH SHADDDUP!" Is One Of My Favorites Because Is The Way Any Of The Characters Get Foghorn Leghorn To Stop Talking
Road Runner is based on a real creature. Real road runners are flightless birds that live in the desert. They can’t fly, but they can run very fast and they use their wings to steer
Roadrunners can actually fly, but only in short bursts. They prefer to run most of the time.
I knew “What’s up, Doc?” would be number one! Every single time me and my younger autistic brother watch a Looney Tunes cartoon and we see Bugs Bunny doing that, we have to do it, too. My brother even goes so far as to pretend to eat a carrot while doing it
The Meep Meep sound was a happy accident. A delivery man said the phrase to alert people to make room and the right executive heard it and made it into the iconic characters.
It came from when background artist Paul Julian would always be in such a hurry to get out of the studio when it was time for everyone to go home for the day, he would say meep meep, and that would make everyone get out of his way. This caught Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese’s attention, and decided to make the voice of The Roadrunner Paul’s meeps meeps
I always thought that it was "Toons", not "Tunes." Must be the Mandela Effect.
I think it's largely because of the fact the name Looney Tunes stuck long after the shorts ended, while Merry Melodies faded away. Both featured music pretty heavily very early on. Then Warner Brothers themselves started calling them the Looney Tunes in movies like Space Jam, and shows like Baby Looney Tunes. When they first referred to the characters rather than the shorts themselves, I'm not sure, but it was after the golden age of the shorts. It didn't help that for 80's and 90's kids, Roger Rabbit popularized the term Toon.
Fun fact: cartoon weren't originally made for children but as a way for adults to enjoy the music used on them, this is the reason why a lot of them have music based names like loony tunes, merry melodies and silly sympathise
My favorite is the road runner beep beep😊
Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! I always wondered why Bugs Bunny was calling a human character "doc", and found out recently that the word "doc" was used to address other people similar to today's "dude" back in the early 40s. 🤣
They don’t make ‘em like these anymore!😢
Honorable mention:
“A whole lotta lumps”
Beep beep!
Personally. I always loved the irreverent lion. Lion: EEEEEEEEEEEE" Bugs: How many lumps you want in your tea?" Lion: A lot of lumps. A whole lot of lumps" Then he proceeds to hit himself in the head repeatedly. Classic Loony Tunes.
"You make me very angry." -Marvin, pacing In "Wabbit Seasoning" when Elmer shoots Daffy & his bill ends up in different places.
Pinky: Gee Brain what do you want to do tonight?
Brain: The same thing we do every night Pinky, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
8:16 I was today years old when I learned that his name was ""Hugo"
Rebecca when you said road runner Beep. Beep. the subtitles said road runner Meep. Meep . i think that's how these mandela effects happen even the subs didn't get it right
What’s up doc
Be very very quiet, I’m hunting wabbits
Duck season! Wabbit season!
Beep Beep
That’s all folks
Those are the catchphrases that are in my head rent free
My favorite Looney Tunes Characters are Wile E Coyote, Tasmanian Devil, Tweety, Hubie And Bertie and my personal favorite Lola Bunny because of her quote in the first Space Jam Don't Ever Call Me Doll as a reminder to her boyfriend Bugs Bunny and her friends.
@DanielMorales-on5us
Lola Bunny is Cute & Voluptuous & Has a Bad Ass Attitude , She's the Rabbit Equivalent of Betty Boop.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I always liked the elephant gun scene with Bugs, Elmer and the Elephant hammering Elmer to the ground I say that quote all the time. RIP Mel Blanc, you created a whole lot of awesome memories over the years.
Rebecca’s imitations of the characters are sending me into hysterics. And her Marvin is surprisingly dead on 🤣
Whats up doc
exactly bugs bunny number 1
RIP Mel Blanc
These catch phrases are what I grew up watching as a kid and I still quote them as an adult
Everytime I see my friends I always say "Eh what's up Doc"🐰🥕
Who knew what #1 before watching the video?
I always loved “thanks for the sour persimmons cousin” 😊
How is Roadrunner not top 2?! Inconceivable! We all knew Bugs Bunny was gonna be number 1.
While he only did it a couple of times “Wile E Coyote, Super Genius “ is right up there.
You must’ve had such fun saying each of these catchphrases.
“Eeeeeehhh… what’s up doc?” Is the most iconic catchphrase from Looney Tunes franchise and the one that I keep on saying or so
Daffy Duck was my favourite. "You're despicable." "WOO-WOO! WOO-WOO!"
"What's up, doc?" is truly the best Looney Tunes catchphrase we have ever gotten.
(Everyone telling what their favorite Looney Tunes quote)
Me: AH SHUDDUP!
Elmer Fudd was voiced by Arthur Q. Bryan.
Best line from Foghorn: "She reminds me of the freeway between Ft. Worth and Dallas... no curves."
Foghorn has got some of the best and funniest dialogue ever 😂
Haven’t watched yet, but predicting “What’s up doc” will be #1.
Mom's favorite character was Michigan J. Frog, dad's favorite was Marvin the Martian, and mine was, and still is Tweety Bird. We also really loved the two sheep dogs and quoted them all the time 😂
This is my favorite Watch Mojo video of all time!!
I should have taken a left turn in Albuquerque. It's a good one
Awesome list 🔥 love the Looney tunes
I say “What’s up doc” and “what’s cookin doc” at least once a day in regular conversation. But while Bugs Bunny is still the best, Foghorn Leghorn has the funniest quotes:
“Two half-nothins is a whole nothin”
“I keep pitchin em and you keep missin em”
“Nice kid but a little dumb”
My all-time favorite Looney Tunes character would have to be Bugs Bunny! He's so funny!
Rebecca should consider being a voice actress
It was amazing how Bugs got away with saying "What a maroon!!" I once checked the dictionary on a whim and discovered the racial overtones behind that term. Shocking....and fascinating too
I honestly always thought it was Bugs mispronouncing "moron". Like when he said "nincowpoop" for nincompoop.
Sufferin Succotash was original catch-phase for Daffy Duck instead they give it to Sylvester.
And they were all done by the same guy. My gosh, Mel Blanc was an absolute legend!
Mine is, was , and will always be Bugs Bunny. Happy sunday morning, Rebecca. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
A lot of these catchphrases are hysterical, but I say "You're despicable" and "Eh, what's up Doc" all the time. 😂
I love looney tunes
Just like we don't talk about Bruno............we don't talk about Roman Reigns' terrible "sufferin succotash, son" promo
Thank God he became the "Tribal Chief"🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bugs Bunny has always been my favorite.
I prefer Daffy in his older cartoons where he used to do what Bugs Bunny does. He’d be the one outsmarting Elmer, Egghead, Porky and other randoms to come out on top. Now it didn’t always go in his favour, but the shorts were amusing. It wasn’t until he started getting paired off against Bugs Bunny that “you’re despicable” started being a thing. Daffy would commonly use “sufferin’ succotash” with his lisp. Not sure who had it first, but Sylvester claimed it.
I must say, I admire your ability to imitate Marvin's voice!
All of the Looney Tunes's voices, in fact!
My favorite is Daffy all way. The fact that hes wasn't number 1 is despecable
My Top 7 Favorite Looney Tunes Characters are 1. Bugs Bunny, 2. Sylvester, 3. Porky Pig, 4. Road Runner, 5. TazManian Devil, 6. Tweety Bird and 7. Daffy Duck
TAZ is my spirit cartoon animal
Tweety and Woodstock may be siblings!
Marvin the Martian
I'm a Looney toons fan I love all of them but I've always loved Daffy duck he gets himself in so much trouble LoL 😂
I knew What's Up Doc was no 1
"Beep beep!" is even funnier when the Road Runner uses it as a jumpscare. I still end up on the floor laughing every time I see the clip where the Road Runner makes Wile E. Coyote jump so badly his head sticks right through an overhanging rock and gets stuck there.
Not only is my favorite Looney Tunes character, he is my favorite cartoon character.
Most Iconic Looney Tunes Catchphrases. Thanks MsMojo And Rebecca!
A fun fact years later Michigan J frog became the mascot for the WB Television Network
So cool 😎!
As a native of Arizona, the Road Runner is my boy
To think in 6 years the Looney Tunes would be an century old. Not necessarily Bugs Daffy nor Porky for example but the series of shorts as itself. Sure Porky made the phrase That's all Folks famous but always remember that the original Looney Tunes star Bosko began saying the phrase in 1930.
