Nice! Yeah it’s a varied and solid group of films!
I really like imprint films but you don’t hear much about the transfers. Are we to assume that often it’s existing transfers they are using? They seem to release stuff that’s mainstream but kinda forgotten about overtime to me
If I have any quibbles with Imprint it’s that yes they do seem to take existing studio scans and don’t do many of their own. To be fair - other labels do this as well, but there have been occasions where they’ve put something out and then it’s come out in a new scan later. That happens from time to time. But overall the scans they are getting are pretty nice looking and sometimes excellent and they are always cranking out titles that haven’t been released on Blu-ray before so that’s something I respect.
RE: Ravagers: Although the year 1991 is very, very far off, I hope the world will be more peaceful than depicted in that movie. Well, I guess that’s a problem for our children’s children’s children.
