There is one more method, detailed in the Mook Series (KBムック) 盆栽樹種別シリーズ９楓○けやきの育て方 P.115. (ISBN978-4-905777-20-5)
It uses the outer cambium peeling method combined with a coil of wire to force the outwards direction of the roots. As the book says: 「左右に広がる根張りをつくりたいので、ぐるぐる巻きの針金で真下に伸びる根をブロックする。」
With the top to root, I wonder if the bottom will send out a sucker and grow another tree. Just a thought.
欅動画で揷し木時期という事で新品種“萌黄”で盆栽が出来るかトライしてみて欲しいです✨
剃り上げ法（切り込み）と言っていたのは舌状剥皮法だと思います💡
中々大変なんですがこれを少しずらして二段作り、昼間さんがやった様にその下を環状剥皮してからニューメデールを差し込んで勝手に連続舌状剥皮と名付けて比較実験をやってみました🔬
厳密にはカルスから発根するわけではないそうですが、舌状剥皮の上下のカルス形成促進し、発根を促しているつもりですが、切断面が大きいので、吸水性がよく発根までの時間稼ぎが出来るではないかと思います🤔

双幹のシマヒイラギを切るだけではもったいないので連続舌状剥皮と環状剥皮の比較実験をしてみました✨
年末に作業中の動画（とある縞柊の物語）はアップしたのですが、先日取り木外しはまだ編集中なので結果はまだ秘密です😅
あと半月状なんとかという幹の片側をかじられたように削り込む方法もあった気がします💡

松は基本的に挿し木は難しいです。稀に挿し木も出来るものもありますが…
