In this part I will show how to mirror your geometry using mirror tool in Cinema 4D. Using this technique while modeling symmetrical objects allows you to keep your focus at one single side of your model.
i really love your tutorials ! it's short , get to the point and so helpful , THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
Great! I really needed that. Like now!
Thank you so much, this was fast and simple
Thanks, this is helping me alot! :)
Cheers, very helpful!
You're welcome mate ) this so good to know it )
care to show how you merge the two objects together ? after merging, the points should automatically be welded together. I come from XSI background and I'm trying to find this in C4D.
this is very useful mate
Thank you.
THANK YOUUUUUUUUU SO MUCH
Tried this with a object that was in a deformer and it didn't really work. I think its as the center point is somewhere stupid. Is there a way to change the center point?
THX ! :)
Thanks ;)
Thanks my friends
Thanks ! In C4D R19 is the same way ! \o/
Holy shit, you master :like:
Or you just duplicate it and put the xscale in -100 c:
This is a shitty practise, because it takes a lot of time. The concept of mirroring is having an inverted (unmodifiable) copy of the original model. The reason why it is umodifiable is because it follows every change you make on the original model, so you don't have to actually mess with it. If everyone did what you suggested, it would be annoying, because you would always have to make changes to both models, or do the same thing over and over again "duplicate, -100 x axis... duplicate, -100x axis..."
LIKE A FUCKING BOSS!!!! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
