Hi Nathan, Don't hesitate to go on the tour again! I've been on the tour twice and the guides added their own knowledge to the required script. One guide added technical and architectural knowledge and the next guide gave us more show knowledge. There are many great backstage tours! Thanks for keeping us informed.

My wife and I did this tour many years a go and were literally in tears at the end when our guide talked about the Partners statue and the one of Minnie and Roy. Tearing up now just remembering! The tour is Well worth the price!

I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour about 20 years ago. Sounds like they mostly do the same stops and the servants entrance at the Haunted Mansion. Our Utilidoors tour was more circular, showed where all the costumes are made and kept, the ride electronics and computer systems. Even an empty Mickey costume.

My friends and I took the Backstage Magic tour several years ago. It was 7 hours and started in Epcot and ended in the Magic Kingdom. We were down in the Utilidoors as well. I think we sacred poor Snow White who was not expecting us to be there. If that tour is still available you should check it out. You would love it!

I’m a former international cast member and have worked at Magic Kingdom- Tomorrowland, so I’ve seen a lot of the backstage areas. This was 20 years ago and I would definitely do this tour to see everything again. It’s totally worth it! Thanks so much for all your videos! Your vibe is contagious! 😀😀😀

I loved doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour back in December of 2018. My tour was slightly different because it was pouring rain most of the time. A tornado warning actually went out while we were in the utilidor allowing us to spend additional time down there. This was some of the best money ever spent at Disney 😀. Highly recommend.

Great video Nate. When my family did this tour, back 2018, it was simple to let them know at morning checkin, that two people were vegan, and at lunch time, there were special vegan lunches awaiting them besides everything else prepared for the tour. Totally simple and easily accommodated.

Thanks Nate for giving guests an overview of the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. I took a tour years ago that took us to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot behind the scenes and Hollywood Studios. It took all day and we had lunch in M.K. and a dinner at Mama Melroses , family style. They did not give us those great keys pins though. However, we went to all the M.K. backstage places that you were taken to and we were driven to each park in special air conditioned tour buses that had water and light snacks for all. In Epcot we went behind the scenes in a few places incl. under American Adventure. I would do it again in a heartbeat. So much great information .

We would love this tour. We got to see behind Main Street once. One of my kids got sick (not serious) and needed to go to a local health clinic. A Disney cast member took us to the clinic, starting by driving right through the Main Street back stage area. The cast member was fantastic. It was kind of a private tour of the backstage areas that we passed on the way to the clinic.

Back when I worked for the mouse in the 90s, above the Emporium side of Main street where the offices for supervisors and managers. I was always being called up there because my hair was too long. On the other side of main street, above the Confectioner, were the security offices. This is where all the undercover security worked, many who were former detectives. You only get to see this part of Disney if you did something really wrong. I was a union steward so I was called up there to sit with employees accused of doing something wrong. Not a pleasant experience. Behind Small World is the main entrance to tunnel. Cast members are brought there by bus and then go to wardrobe for clean costumes. They also had a very nice cafeteria near entrance to tunnel. I learned some new things from your video.

My daughter and I did the tour a few years ago. Our meal was at Columbia Harbor House though. The tour was so awesome. We saw some characters backstage also with parts of costumes off. We also saw the parade vehicles, some old Spectral Magic floats that had been retired. We loved all the stories and still remember a lot of the little facts. We had a shorter trek downstairs and entered from the back of the Emporium. We did another tour a couple years later- Marcelline to Main street and had Haunted Mansion special access. All wonderful.

Been backstage three times for very different reasons. First time was NYE and they opened up the shortcut between front of Main Street and Tomorrowland to alleviate crowds. Second time my mom's personal scooter died at the back of Tomorrowland and CMs arranged a minivan to pick us up and return us to our on-site hotel. Last time was evacuated from the tall rise on Splash Mountain and we exited out the back way of that ride to Frontierland.

BEST suggestion EVER, if people can spare the 5 hours from their schedule. Our tour guides family was close friends of Walt, her Dad was an imagineer and she had some amazing stories about Walt. Myself and two other ladies teared up several times when she spoke of the special bond Roy and Walt shared.
Can't Thank You enough for doing this and sharing your experience first. WELL worth the money and pixie dust lessons.

Nate Keys to the Kingdom is a awesome tour and for the money a great value. Another tour that is very reasonable is the Behind the Seeds at The Land. The Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour is also good and reasonable, on that one we went through the door between the Tangled Toilets and Small World to go backstage to enter the mantience room of the Haunted Mansion. This was during park hours and the ride was open, its completely dark but you go directly under the ride vehicles in the Ballroom Scene and see the actual dancing "ghosts" and how that illusion works.

Loved this vlog so much! Great job! Just wanted to put this out there if no one has yet, the cost is in addition to the park admission cost. (As a reminder 😉) unless something has changed since reopening after pandemic closure.

(#774) I remember when, back in the early 80's, I got a chance to go underneath in the tunnels. That is such a cool 😎 walk!!!

I’ve been backstage on the tour, and backstage with my daughters marching band. They paraded down Main Street 2 of her 4 years in high school!

I loved the keys to the kingdom tour! We ate at a different restaurant, I know they use different ones all the time. We saw all the parade floats too!
