Maestro , master , shihan , shifu all comes from the deep rooted master students culture of traditional martial arts. greatness is in giving respect to to others , especially those in similar domain.
I def see value in many different techniques Mastro demos here BUT his example of how ppl do certain techniques isn't accurrate. Avoiding takedown move both legs = wrestling 101, but you dont do it this way. Also, most ppl will punch/kick before closing the distance so simply stepping back isn't going to go down how he's explaining either. Still some good tech here, not dissing it but just know that mixing the tried n true styles is best

Excellent! I have a question. Technique number one. You managed to repel the first blow. How do you know that the second one will be straight from the hand? ... for example, not a direct kick? I mean, by penetrating inside the enemy's defense, without a simultaneous counterattack, you can get a surprise, even controlling the second hand ... I'm not criticizing. I really like your method.
