Hi Ivy, it depends on the hotel location. It means which beach you want to live more close. The famous beach is Chaweng Beach, it has many restaurants and pubs, whatever you can stay at the beach to watch some shows. These hotels might have more luxury facilites, but their price will be higher obviously. And another benches is Tongsong Beach and Hat Bang Rak Beach, those beach is more quite and natural. The price is not much high. For me, that's good enough, I don't min to rent a car or call grab/bolt for travelling. Mostly for tourist, usually choose the hotel not located and south or west island. There're too many options, try to use booking.com or google mapand use their MAP function, that would be easier for you to understand the price and facilites. Wish you have a good trip.
