- Who needs a Star Wars style AT-ST? I went full chicken on this build!
Designing some Robot Chicken legs was a fun process and I learned a lot about Blender.
Let me know what you think of the build in the comments!

Subbed 😉
102nd thumbs up brother and enjoyed watching and have a wonderful week brother 👍😁👊💯
Thanks Tony!
That’s the silliest bad ass build I’ve ever seen! That’s meant as a compliment. Nice work Ben! Your skills are only outmatched by your imagination.
😂 I'll take it! Sometimes the silliness adds to the motivation haha
An awesome combination of different techniques to bring this superb build together.
Thanks buddy! It was a fun amalgamation of things 😁👍
Star Wars Legion or Gaslands …🧐awesome Building 👌😀
Gaslands at heart but this would be cool on many different tables!
Full watch ! Great work , WOW .
Done SOOOOOO RIGHTTTTTTTTT .
😁 Thanks Mike! New toolsand skills means even more potential to make cool stuff👍
I see that , awesome 😎
Looking forward to it!
😁👍
While the 'chicken' aspect of the build is not quite to my personal taste, I gotta say that was some fantastic weathering.
The 3D printed legs have a sort of 40k machinery look to them like a dreadnought.
Thank you Rallaa! Sometimes you just need to make things a bit silly 😁
I need to design a more robotic body for these legs in the future too!
Just let us see it ! Looking forward...
Thanks for coming to the premier and sorry you had to wait 😂
@@BPCustomCreations , no worries! It turned out really awesome.
Ben - I never thought I would say this to you but you sure chickened out on that head to head build 🤣 I love this build, the only thing I wish is that this creation would come to life and start moving... it has an anime attack vehicle feel to me - I could see it with a single driver, pounding down the streets of post apocalyptic Tokyo.
It definitely feels like something that could be in a show like Megas XLR! I think it's safe to say I won't need to chicken out of a build this much ever again 🤣 🐔🥚
Great build love the legs. Now all I need is a 3D printer and computer 🤣🙄.
There's always some new tool to acquire in any hobby 🤣
Just love these kind of builds...
Thank you!
we all know what an AT-ST is: vulnerable to treetrunks. XD
interesting idea, love the legs, nice and sturdy. :) and adding a crest to the body is a nice detail. ^^
Thank you! Anything on two legs is vulnerable to attacks on them. Oh no! That's us
The 3D sculpting on the legs is 🔥.
Very nicely done. Looks quite believable. Buh-gawk!
Thanks! I love how well weathering ties everything together and sells it at scale
Interesting!
😁👍
Loved the build dude. Once I get more experience I'll be doing more stuff in blender.
It's such a powerful program to be for free! I just got a pen tablet and hope to do some more organic sculpting soon. Everything takes time and that's the most limiting factor for me at the moment
This came out great! I love the salt chipping/airbrush/weathering effects, they look fantastic. I've just recently got an airbrush and need to get up the nerve to actually use it on a project. Awesome build BP!
T-Nu! Get that airbrush out ASAP 🤣
Mine sat in the craft room for months before I was able to work it into the workflow and I should have done it way sooner!
@@BPCustomCreations It's coming out today! : )
Attaboy 😁👍 I can't wait to see how you incorporate a new tool into your work!

Very good Builders always Ben keep up the good work I really enjoy watching your video you have a wonderful day and God bless
Hey, thanks JC! I'm glad you enjoy my builds 😁👍
mind blown again your builds never cease to amaze me your creativity and ingenuity are off the chart.
Thanks Neil! I'm glad I can supply you with the mind blowing you you need 😁👍
Qué buena idea! Voy a desarmar dos excavadoras "backhoe" para usarlas como piernas en vez de imprimir en 3d. Excelente video.
Nice idea! Thank you for watching 👍👍
Just got into Blender so it was nice seeing you work with it and seeing some other features I haven’t yet used! Salt chipping also came out great. Nice job!
Nice! If you check out Artisans of Vaul, you won't be disappointed.
Amazing build sir! For such a crazy theme this actuallly looks really cool. I could see this in a video game or stomping around on a gaming table.
While I do agree with some that say that the legs appear a bit too chunky for the VW bug's body, I think they work pretty well as is. I do think that you could have moved the attachment point a tad forward, so that the legs were centered under the rear windows, to improve the looks of this wild and crazy contraption.
If nothing else, this video has inspired me to look into Blender myself. By the time i become proficient with that program maybe I can afford a 3D printer. 😁
Thank you! This car was a crazy one but very fun for sure. It even found its way to a new home
A Coupe world make a good chicken walker
Missed opportunity! 😂
Very nice build but i think the robot legs are way to big for such a small car..
Thanks! They could have been a bit smaller but I like the weighty stance. The best part of 3D modelling is I can resize them to any scale I want for next time!
Should link reeve’s channel. I couldn’t find it on any of my searches.
He doesn't have one yet. Sorry I should have mentioned that in the video 😅
Why not a build off where you design and print something and I kit/trash bash something?
Hey hey that would be interesting! I like incorporating 3D prints into physical modelling. It's like kitbashing with custom parts!
Hi
👋
What is the FB group where I can join in on the chalanges?
The car of the month happens in Gaslands UK Car of the Month! This walker build off and head to head build I mention in many of my videos is just something I set up with friends
Blender is ungodly complex and requires hundreds of hours of practice just to produce basic shapes x_x
What is shown in this video is from someone who has many MANY years experience using Blender .
I'll take that as a compliment but I've really only been using Blender for a short time. It's intimidating at first but I made these legs mostly using just a handful if tools and methods: scaling, edge beveling, subdiving, rotating, and boolean operations.
I used Fusion 360 in the past which is much easier for some things but completely different in so many other ways. If you're interested I'd say check out the channel I linked for comprehensive tips and tricks!
Thanks for watching the video 😁👍
