    You should change the title of this video to the Holy Grail of the perfect granny square. I've been trying to find a tutorial to where the granny square doesn't end up looking twisted by the time you reach row 3. There's nothing wrong with the others but this is the first time I've made one and actually finished the 3 round instead of ripping it out. Thank you sooo much!! ❤👏💜🤩

    Who doesn't love a classic granny square,🤗!
    Fantastic camera clarity Sandra, and the Bambino yarn looks so lovely. I thought I already did your granny square method but now see the way you slip stitch into that third chain ...under both legs of the 'v'( I just go into it) ..your join is imperceptible , love that.
    Thankyou for this👍👍💗

      @CherryHeart  Před 2 lety +2

      Ahh thanks lovely! Yes this yarn is soo pretty and nice to use too. That’s what I like about this method, it does hide the join nicely I think. ☺️❤️❤️

    Wonderful, informative tutorial..
    I’m making these granny square and I have to tell you..
    I’m so happy I came across someone who’s yarn is held over the middle finger, Most have it coming from the second index finger, I’ve never been able to crotchet that way.
    I was taught with the yarn coming from my third finger ..
    Thankyou so much. 🌺🌿🌺

    Hello Sandra, my first time here. I searched high and low for the best granny square tutorial. So happy I found you🤗. Your granny squares are so beautiful and tidy. Love how easily you began and finished each round, tidy and seamless... brilliant!

    Hi Sandra, what a lovely blanket! Thank you for sharing this one with us. I crocheted as a teen, but then life happened & I didn’t return to crocheting until retirement. I couldn’t recall how to crochet, so searched & found your wonderful tutorials! I’ve been crocheting again for many years. I love this colorway, but am having trouble identifying it. My American ears have listened to you saying it many times & it’s the one word I can’t understand! Could you please tell me what it is? I think I’m correct that it’s Stylecraft Bambino, but that colorway is elusive! Thanks so much for all your tutorials, but especially for providing me a refresher to start crocheting again!

      Oh that’s so lovely and you are so right it can be the perfect craft at any time of life, waiting for when we are ready. Yes you are right, Stylecraft Bambino and it’s ‘duck egg’ I’m using. ☺️❤️

    Sandra, I commented a couple of days ago inquiring about your colorway as I wasn’t able to understand when you said “duck egg”. You very graciously & immediately replied to my comment & I thank you!
    Would it be possible to learn all 5 colors you used in the squares in this video? The duck egg & 4 others (the 2 pinks, the yellow & the darker blue)? I absolutely love how the colors pop! Thank you so much! 💕 🧶

    • @CherryHeart
      @CherryHeart  Před 2 lety +1

      You know, it’s a good job you asked about this because it turns out I told you the wrong colour. I just had to check the name of one of the other colours and it turns that that main colour I use isn’t actually called Duck Egg, it’s called Sage! Sorry about that, I thought I knew, but obviously not. 🤦‍♀️ Anyway here’s all the colours for you….
      Paler blue - Sage
      Darker blue - Denim Dungarees
      Yellow - Mellow Yellow
      Paler/soft pink - Vintage Pink
      Brighter pink - Flaming Fuchsia
      Those are all Bambino colours, apart from the Flaming Fuchsia which is Belissima.
      ❤️❤️
