I enjoy getting to "understand" more about Werido!
From what I've gathered, he seemed to start off as some kind of "servant/guard" to K.O.-by-Trian man. He used manipulation to get as far a way from the dude's "home" and has now killed anyone related to that past life of his.
Now, getting a bit closer to the present, we see him finally home, where he is welcomed and treated kindly!
From what I remember, the person with the helmet at the end is an officer detective, who seems to be the main one who suspects Werido of his past and current crimes.

Yep, the helmet person at the end is called Chasina, and she's a police officer! She's very suspicious of Weirdo hehe
we get to see more of her in the next animatic.
Weirdo : *Very much a chaotic gremlin who have a long list of murder under his name*
The Pastor : *literally exist and show kindness to him*
Weirdo: "....I will kill anyone who hurt this man without any hesitation"
That pretty much how i see the situation-- anyway i am happy that Weirdo found people who are kind to him and who seem to care.
Not just the pastor but the all group of people at the end who seem to have became his friends.

Bit by bit, we're learning more and more about Weirdo(who is cute, but who is a threat), ey!
So, I think Weirdo is real. It is quite possible that his existence was ignored by many on purpose, or he himself has the ability to hide his presence. Why not? He's not human, so anything is possible, heh.
So the answer to all the questions is who or what Weirdo is (for some reason I think this guy will just say for fun that he is the sugar fairy from Taco Bell. I wonder if he's tried tacos or does he not need food at all?) Besides, we're not even sure if he had a childhood or if he just showed up. It's just that now I have a theory that Weirdo's attitude towards someone depends on who he thinks he is. In other words, if he is considered a threat, he will be a threat, if not, then his behavior will be exactly the opposite.
It's just an interesting detail that he (although he looks like a cyborg killer and actually is) did not attack the priest and other people at once. Weirdo seemed to be trying to scare the man away but not harm him, I think? That is, it is inherently characteristic of him to distinguish between good and evil and, moreover, to understand that the world is inherently neither one nor the other? This may indicate that before Emery, he met "good" and therefore he can distinguish between good people and bad ones. Or, following the second theory, he did not attack, since the priest had no desire to attack him and simply triggered the "reflection effect".
Heh, it looks like I'm trying to wind myself up and find something that's not there. XD
In any case, this video is beautiful. I love Weirdo's lore. 💅✨
Single correction, Weirdo is human! He has a condition called Hamartia Disease which are basically mutants (the slang term is 'Mishaps' hence the story name)
Weirdo needs to eat like anybody else, but he can eat anything. Normal food or non-edible materials.

soo the Priest has a big charisma check, well he is the only person who had given Weirdo a chance likely for the first time in HOW MANY years he had lived for. "God forgives all if they wish truly for forgiveness" etc, etc. Additionally it looks like the man who let him leave is the one in the mask at the end. The mask reflecting crazed Weirdo could 1. Show how he still views the man or 2.Something that happens in the future. I go with the first one, mainly it makes a bit more sence for me personally. He did kill most of his coworkers/ friends afterall. The way he is seen by the other is understanable at the very least.
Father Vincent is a very chill (slightly stern) dude with his own past, he understands Weirdo
