First "Big Ears"

My very first time and reaction to pulling big ears. This is a rapid descent technique that takes the glide ratio of the wing from the normal 5:1 down to a 1:1 ratio. I will also need to be able to preform this for my PPG3 rating.

Whats the purpose of that maneuver?

It’s to drop altitude faster than normal. It’s hard to see in the video. But you drop at about a 1:1 ratio, vs the normal 5:1. I also have to preform it during my PPG 3 certification.
