I think the “Ubi-Art Framework” engine which powers Rayman Origins is absolutely aged like a fine wine 🍷

On the nintendo 3Ds it looks super cool, and more so with the 3D, only as it is a small screen, when scaled to a PC it looks blurry, but on the console it looks great!

I played and almost finished the game on the PS VITA. Looked so nice on the masterful handheld.
Fun fact: I bought rayman origins again on Xbox series s back in October and still play it! One of my favorite and one of the first games I’ve ever played. So glad to see the rayman fandom alive to this day despite how many years this series has been going on 😁!

i only have the 3DS version. "poor me" you may be saying, but tbh i like this version.its nice to be able to play Rayman portably and i've never had issues with the game or problems with how it looks.if you only have a 3DS i would say get it
i have it both on 3DS and PS3 and chose to play it on 3DS because of the convenience.
I bought the 3DS version on Amazon some months ago for 20$ 4-stars rated. I love this version a lot and I spend countless hours on my console so playing a game I always wanted to experience myself on a low price on my favourite console is just good to me
@@miserablepileofsecrets i've spent alot of time on the game too, i got fairly close to beating it actually and i'm still working on it i just havnt nearly as much cause i got rayman legends on switch recently and i've nearly finished THAT.both the games are so great and the fact you can play them portable is even better
@@gggumball Thats why 3DS is my favourite console. I brought it everywhere and some remakes are awesome like Luigi's Mansion. But yeah those two Rayman are very fun and Origins on 3DS is very good
@@miserablepileofsecrets yep when I was a kid I bought it around me alot to play nsmb2 and Mario kart I played on it even more than the Wii it's a great little handheld

No matter the version, this is an amazing game you need to play if you haven’t yet
Except maybe the 3DS version. It has low bitrate music, blurry visuals and it has missing levels and multiplayer
@@dasonicc True. It lacks some of the levels, may not look as good as the other versions and doesn’t run at 60fps like the Vita version, but it was pretty impressive at the time that they fit a full console game that was on the Wii, 360 and PS3 on the system
@@MrskipperCP Yeah, it was pretty cool that they got it on a handheld console. But, I’m not sure if it the compromises made make it worth playing when other versions of the game are available. Still, it’s really cool that they got it working on a handheld console from 2011.
@@dasonicc 3DS version is good for a fun time on road and not very expensive. It only misses multiplayer and one level which is before the final boss but personnaly I never managed to do it alone and it was my most hated one. So having it removed on 3DS is actually a gift. For a handheld port at the console's first years it was pretty good

i think 3ds could be a better port, they just downgraded the quality image to fit screen resolution. btw 3d effect its kind of cool and is still playable if you dont mind blurriness
It's playable yeah, but what got me was the terrible audio, this game has such a fun soundtrack but on 3ds it (and everything else) sounds soooo bad
@@tylersimmons4287 look at the storage file size of the home console version, which is 3GB. Then look at the 3DS version, 250mb! The game has so much compression! Even the music in the title screen sounds insanely compressed! I still find it amazing that's even on the 3DS

It's a shame that the 3DS version of this game is just awful, full of glitchs, command delay and frame-rate issues.
At least the Wii and PSVita version is simply amazing, it's just as good as the PS3/X360 only loses in resolution.

@@LalitoTV Play the demo that is available in the eShop, but I don't particularly recommend the 3DS version.
Another problem I forgot to mention is that the audio uses compression and has horrible quality.
@@MoonSarito i don't think it is that bad. It is the worst version, no doubt about it, but it's no disaster. It's ok, very playable and on the tiny screen, looks decent.
@@LalitoTV Im actually playing the 3DS version. Not as bad as he says. Not the best version but for a game released at the console's debut, its pretty good. You can find it for 7-30 $ so yeah buy it actually.

PS Vita is the best. Having the game always at hand is a big plus. So still not with bad sound and graphics like 3ds. Well, it is also the most exclusive in terms of content.

True. Although it does seem to look noticeably sharper. The only advantage the PS3 version has over the PC version is that the pre rendered cutscenes run in 60 FPS but even then the PC version can get the better cutscenes with a simple mod
