In this Video Vocab lesson, we'll look at business English vocabulary, words and phrases for international trade.
The journey starts with finished merchandise being inspected and given a certificate of manufacture.
The seller will then issue a pro forma invoice, while the buyer may obtain a letter of credit to finance the payment. Next, the seller will draw up a bill of lading and arrange shipment under internationally agreed Incoterms such as CFR, CIF and FOB.
On arrival, merchandise is often stored in a bonded warehouse until the import tax, or duty, is paid. A customs broker may then help clear the goods through customs.

Terrific, I glad that there videos like this,
I liked the video. I have a proposition - make the repetion of terms one more after the example sentences given. It could start at 7:07. Just a brief review of word combinations given before with the brief explanation once more. In this way the student (me) may repeat once more to be fully prepared.

This video is concise knowledge of international trade. but there is a mistake in this video where you are discussing on bill of lading.Bill of lading only use in cargo(ship) not via transportation of air mode,In Air mode transportation use AIRWAY BILL.

i need an urgent answer. we sell in Fob, but fob means that the seller have responsible until good loaded in ship. so does the seller still have rights of cancelling to delivery good if the seller hasn't paid ?

I don`t want to seem meen. Your video is perfect. The voices are really good, the video effects are high quality. But when I lstened up to the last example I then saw the exercises. And it was not easy to do them without repetition. So, I did bad - 60 % of mistakes in answers. I just suppose one should reviise the material given before to procedd to the small exam which follows the theory part. Sorry once more.
