I was so happy to see another interview with Hansel. There's just something about this kid. He's one of my new favorite people!
Mine too! He's got a good head on his shoulders.
Me too. He's a hard worker & an inspiration!
OMG I'm watching you on whatnot! You the person who was nervous about the live? Of course you're a natural and are going to also kill it on whatnot! And they are tipping you! That's so funny!! Congrats girl! RIDE THIS RIDE! You are killing it in all areas!!!
Appreciate you so much 🙏
Amazing!!! This kid is such an inspiration, he is DEFINITELY going great places 👏🏻
I agree.
It's great to hear from Hansel again👍
Hard working Filipino kid! Really proud of you Hansel!
Thank you Cayley for everything that you do. Hansel congrats to you, you have accomplished a lot! I started over 20+ years on ebay and took business and accounting for my own business. Fast forward, I cut down a lot of selling, but I have built my own clients with accounting. With learning it on your own you are saving money in both areas in the future. I was in the bay area about 3 months ago and prices are high comparable to Vegas even at the bins. If you ever visit Vegas, its about a 90 min flight Mondays are $1 on color tags, bins are $1.79/lb from the last time I went and we have 3-4, we have a salvation army outlet too and from Tuesday - Sunday we have 50% on selected colors for the week. I heard a lot of resellers send their stuff back home, but with California being so close, its not that expensive. #accounting #business #sanjosebayarea #filipinorules #resellercommunity
What an inspiring interview! Thank you so much for sharing all the details. On another subject I’m wondering if you can help me… I want to follow your method of dropping prices every 90 days on eBay. The problem is I have chosen. Buy it now with good until canceled so every month the listing is automatically renewed by eBay. My question is, how can I figure out, which listings are actually 90 days old?
Talking about laundering. I hear a rumor of ebay taking some people's listings down. If they don't have some verbiage about the items being cleaned. Not sure if anyone has experienced that? And although I agree that most items are clean enough to not need it, ebay does want everything to be laundered I believe.
That's been ebays policy for years. I've never personally known anyone who ebay has gone after.
Great interview!
Agree!
Inventory is great in California in my opinion! That makes me laugh. :)
I just got back from San Diego, I was there on Thursday and I shopped at Orange County today. Nothing to brag about in San Diego. Orange County in So Cal and Alameda County in Nor Cal were great!
Strange, my idea of California has been the opposite, that they actually have an advantage, more bins stores and more flea markets. Most of my inventory costs me $8.55 per piece from the thrift stores as there are no great fleamarkets within 90 minutes of me and the nearest bins are 2+ hours and I've heard they're in sketch parts of town, so not a safe place for me to shop alone. Enjoyed this interview, and thanks for all of your content.
I was in California a couple of months ago and our bins are cheaper than that. $1.79 and we have a goodwill and salvation army outlet. Their prices are higher by 30-50% depending on the department. Northern California doesnt have coupons, but southern california does, which helps out a lot.
Northern California is terrible. The local bins are total junk and are $3.50/lb. I should say North Bay because I’ve heard Sacramento is good.
I worked at 2 thrift shops. I will say the ones I worked at 99% of people do not wash their items before donating. But I do think buyers will wash the items before wearing. I hope so anyhow. You never know where the items have been. 😂stinky old basement smell 🤢
