The message change my thoughts that God is punishing me or testing me of what I experiencing right now. I thought that God is the one who makes my mom sick right now. But I continue to pray that my mom will be healed because God is merciful. He has the control of everything and makes the situation even more better. I love Jesus. Thank you Pastor Bayless Conley that you continue to spread the good news and share the gospel. It really helps a lot towards people who have thoughts like that to seek God. God Bless the people in your church and hopefully more people would be able to hear this timeless news.

For a breakthrough understanding of the Book of Job, read the novel "Where Do We Go Now, LORD? - Burke." Yes, Advanced.

This is the only teacher on Job that has ever made sense to me. I’m so glad he made it

  • @ouranoswealthgroup7042

When people of God (who suffer) start realizing that faith works is not effortless & the race we run is not FOR salvation, ‘suffering’ can be processed the same as happiness can.

The statement where Job said "I nkow my Redeemer liveth and he shall stand in the latter day upon the stand in hte latter dahy upon the eath. and though skin worms destroy my flesh, yet in my flesh I shall see God," or something like that. That one statement as well as others should make you want to shout!

I thought the main theme of the book of Job was how Job persevered through several grueling and painful afflictions meant to test Jobs faith in God and how Job ultimately triumphed in the end ????? Sent by a newcomer to the book!!!!!!

I think I finally began to understand the lessons of Job when I found out I had cancer. I remember driving home from the doctor and every inch of me wanted to freak out. I am on the freeway, hands clasped to the steering wheel, trying to see the toad through a veil of tears and zi am telling God how scared I am and saying (though not fully believing) that I trusted. All the sudden, I was reminded of Job. I stopped the freight train of thoughts in my head and said, “Lord, be glorified in my life or my death. Whatever glorifies You the most, do that. I will accept it.” I didn’t really worry through the whole thing after that and when doubtful thoughts came to my head, I simply repeated that simple prayer. I ended up being able to remove all of the cancer through surgery because, for some reason, the cancer grew inward instead of outward. Strange but true. Blessed be the Lord indeed.
I am not special. No one should ever look at me and say, “Wow, look how righteous she is!” That’s just not true. I believe we all will have at least one true Job moment in our lives. It’s all in recognizing that (1) just because you are having a Job-like moment or situation, doesn’t mean you are like him, and (2) it’s his reaction to the events that we should mirror.

" Though the fig trees have no blossom, no grapes on the vine, though the olive trees fail, and the fields lie empty and barren, even though the flocks die in the field, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord of my salvation."
    Habbukuk 3:17✝️
    Always we ask about Job
    Job's end was very favorable
Appears most in the old testament
    Apart from Samson
All had a favorable end ( in the natural)
The apostles on the other hand
    All but John( exiled)
    We're all martyred

  • @complimentarycontemplation1873

A pastor named Francis Chan also did this sermon which was also good. Look up Francis Chan followed by the word legacy. Skip 20 minutes and you’re there. 45:18 minutes long. A lot of the message was attached to verse 6 if I recall. What was Satan doing up in Gods presence and how often does that happen. And what’s it mean?

…but as like the parable of the lost sheep, juxtaposed to as like the kids that Job lost during his suffering: 1. With and through satan’s doings against Job, did Job’s said offsprings not go to Heaven? 2. Were Job’s children’s souls/spirits not worthy of being defended by God since it is written that God defends those that cannot defend themselves (paraphrased) during satan’s wrath against their father Job…since no where in the Word did it state that they were evil or doing evil deeds. 3. Why were they not rescued by God as like the said parable of the lost sheep where 99 may be saved but yet still He goes to save the one.

Amen - in so many ways the bible tells us how it is Satan who is a culprit - but yet there are so many so called "Christians" who claims otherwise. Rev 12:15 "And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.".

"Out of the mouth of The Most High proceedeth not evil and good?"
    (Lamentations 3:38KJV)
Almighty God The Creator is sovereign. Both the evil and the good that I encounter on my way is in keeping with His perfect will and plan for me, to mold and shape me into the man He wants me to be. Like gold through fire. Like steel through fire. Like steel on the anvil pounded into a useful sword for the Maker to use. Hardened and sharpened, fit for war.

So did God let the hedge down or is the pastor here assuming that Job did something to let the hedge down or is he claiming that fear made a whole in the hedge.

James 5:11 says Job persevered. Please also take into consideration this video was before a live congregation, when recorded. Sometimes folks misspeak words. Go back and listen again, he did mention Job 16 after he mention James 5:11 and around the same time he mentioned James 5:12-17. I also always ask God to make things clear when I’m listening and I read watch sermons with my Bible open. False teachers will be revealed and we can chose not to listen to the. Keep a notepad near you and write down scripture too. Good thing about watching CZcams, we can pause, go back, re-listen, or stop.

God doubled everything Job had at the end. Except for his children. They died but are not lost. (hidden detail of the Book of Job). He gave him 7 sons and 3 daughters. Which is double 😊

  • @ouranoswealthgroup7042

They aren’t righteous. Righteousness is an act, not a person (unless, it’s the righteousness of God Aka Christ, the Son of who is good and righteous, God).
No one is exempt from suffering on earth. Suffering is also a state of mind, just like happiness.
An experience, if you will. God tested Job. As a result of the test, Job suffered in the process.

Should a pastor put hands in pants in front of an audience? Why do you never see governors or Presidents do this? Is it a sign of disrespect to the audience? In the US Military, what happens if you put your hands in pants in front of officers? Hm?
