For real, I'm a Saiyan CAC, but they've been screwing over Frieza race, Namekians and Buu races for a while now. One unique transformation, while Saiyans have gotten like 10 of them. Would be cool too see you able to absorb someone, or have a skinny Buu (Like when Buu trained for TOP arc, before he fell asleep).

SSJ1>2>3>4, SSG>SSGSS>SSGSSE, etc. That way it's two unique ones only, rather than having 5 different ones for one CAC. Keeping Super Vegeta and Future SSj different though.

for those of you who don’t know, the cross thing is basically like there are teams of 3, and they go around the map fighting different bosses together, and making the character their playing stronger to see which team kills the most. it’s pve. and the event is like you pick a universe and get points for them from missions and whichever universe has the most missions wins.

Future Trunks is still "early access" because he's not already unlocked at the start of the game, so getting the "early access" unlocks him instantly. It's like Majin 21 in FighterZ having her as soon as possible instead of beating the story mode to unlock her.
Hoping down the line we xan get Super Saiyan 4 and Orange Namekian as an awoken so we can round out most of the modern transformations.

I doubt SSJ4 for 2 reasons. Females can't go shirtless which is what the form does and nerds will be angry if they put the little black top on them lol
2: Bandai will most likely make it a recolor of hair, some fur and everyone gets the same eye color with no animated tail still. People will also be mad

My guess for this “Cross Versus” is that it will be a “Free-for-All, we’ve only had 1v1 2v2 and 3v3. Which could position tie in to this Festival of the “Universes” maybe make a mode that resembles the Tournament of Power.

Cross Versus is so cool it’s you and a team of people all starting at level 1 and slowly level up and fight in harder fights that ends with a boss fight at the end. According to the interview for Xbox Wire. And the Festival of Universes is players pick a Universe and compete in events to earn points for their universe to earn rewards and stuff.
I think it's cool that this free update is giving us ui and all that stuff, I'd personally like to see ssj4, but the cross versus does have me wonder if it is crossplay. I also wonder if we will get both versions of ultra instinct in this update, like if we will be able to go ui sign then ui mastered. I think that would get me more interested in UI.
I would like to see ssj4 as an awoken skill too
The mode is a pvpve mode, there is an interview where the game designer talks about it.

It's weird they're doing next gen stuff for XV so close to Tenkaichi 4 release. You would think they want most people to move to BT4.
It just worries me since I was hoping BT4 would be like the upgraded replacement for Xenoverse, but this makes me feel like it may be more like DBZ: Kakarot now which isn't bad just not what I was hoping for. But that's assuming a lot, they probably just want XV at it's potential

I agree that the cutscenes look good. I actually screensaved some of the cutscenes from the Beast DLC pack as desktop backgrounds. I have done both paths so i could have the split screen of Gamma 2, android 16, and android 21, and then the other path to have the screenshot of gohan and orange piccolo. Pretty sick screens.

We could use so many awoken skills, I wish they would expand more on it sense I feel like its what brings people back as well different fighting style so being able to use accessories like power pole and swords but for them to be also be unice in fight styles and effects. Like Janemba sword can cause air slashes with a small range, and power pole having like cool stamina break animations or something. Also as for awokens we could use.
Orange transformation for namekians.
Majin Absorption (could be like a grab install or something.)
Frieza race transformation stage like super saiyan or just the cooler buff form but unique I guess.
Humans can get buff form like roshi.
Super saiyan Rose with new combo strings with ki blades.
Super saiyan 4.
Legendary super saiyan.
If not those unique transformations at least gives us new universal ones like.
Villanous mode and Pure progress.

My guess is cross versus is either gonna be (like you said) cross play, OR maybe some sort of map switching gameplay? Sorta like if normal pvp had those portals to other maps. or MAYBE its like those expert missions where the boss knocks you back and you have to go through maps and fight actual players, and the first person to get BACK wins. Idk man im just spitballin here. Excited asf.

I love Seereax's honesty in this video 😂 as someone who has been a top player since the inception of the storm community I can relate to not being excited for the same 10+year old content being rehashed and packaged as if it's exciting and new.
The majority of the community/consumer based falls for it EVERYTIME but for me i can't appreciate updates being rereleased under the guise of a 'new' game at full price.
It's gotten to the point where I stopped supporting the game many years ago and only playing occasionally as of recently. I don't see myself buying the new game unless i truly don't mind throwing $70 in the garbage, because that's what it means to purchase another naruto storm game 🚮

4:40 I just want to say that "Avatar Level Cap Unlock" is likely referring to the fact that in order for a CaC character in Xenoverse to increase their level beyond 80 (which I believe is the initial hard-cap, but it's been a while, so I might be wrong), you have to jump through some hoops, and each time you create a new character, you have to jump through those same hoops again, so they're probably addressing that, rather than increasing the max level beyond 99.
No you don't. If you unlock your potential with one CaC it applies to all of them.

I think the mystery character in the trailer is Shallot or Giblet from Dragon Ball Legends, there's a slight look at their hair in the teaser as well as the clothing looking similar in design based on the parts I could make out on it.

When it says Future Trunks Early Access, it means you can play with Future Trunks before progressing the story enough to unlock him

Beerus taught Goku to become a SSG in the storymode when Mira and your Cac interrupted the training. In DBZ Kakarot Vegeta got SSG transformation and he got SSGS with Goku in both games.
Ok so i have brought this up before to others but
Humans: Can get the buff form make it do increased strike damage but make it slow and drain stamina and increased ki regen
Frieza race: give Them 100% or cooler transformation make it slower but increase basic attack and strike super attacks and make them kinda tanky
Namekians: if a teamate goes down give them the ability to fuse with that teammate you can have it be like dual ultimates initiated by the Namekian and followed up by the downed teammate Gives them a minor buff to all stats or increase there speed and stamina regen they don't need to get the same clothes or even orange piccolo transformation
Majins: same as namekians but get a substantial boost in one random stat and a random move from the teammate
I am LESS interested in ultra instinct then i am with these options

Here's a guess at what "to the future" means, with things like Vegeta becoming SSG. Perhaps they are going to take us to the alternate futures of the Pasts we had fixed, but as if we hadn't fixed them. Like really, What IF Goku died to Buu when he did the SSJ3 demo and got erased, making a resurrected Vegeta to be the #1 hero, culminating in him becoming the Super Saiyan God (replacing Goku with Pregnant Bulma for the number of saiyans needed for the power up). It's a long shot, but maybe they've finally been given the greenlight to just go bananas on the story for fun's sake. I wouldn't mind a what if of fighting an immortal Freeza because he wasn't stopped by nail and us, and instead went right to his ship. We could finish it with a new skill available to us giving us a chance to learn the Evil Containment wave.

I wonder if the whole thing about going to the future might tie into Dragon Ball Online? It’s the origin of Mira, Towa and Fu, and there were some interesting sounding things in the lore of the game, like an elderly Goku and Vegeta apparently going out to space to have a final battle to the death instead of dying of old age, with the super nova created by said battle being visible to earth a few years later.
looking at the right shoulder (viewers point of view) of the character its seems to be the vegeta suit with chest armor strap visible. so could be any character ever wearing the blue suit with the chest peace on.
edit: wilde guess. they suited up bardock and helped him reach ssj god. the thing behind his left shoulder ( v. p. o. v.) is the monkey tail.

I think scenario will be what happen if Goku died and Vegeta is SSYJ at Namek, So story continued Vegeta as Super Saiyan God. So That mayl be Vegeta Rose.
They should just officially support mods. They could charge a monthly fee or something to get access to mods, I personally wouldn't complain and they don't have to do anything to keep it going, the community would do it themselves

The Character they show at the end is either Rose Masked Saiyan and we're gonna get db heros content, or it's Super 17.
If the mysterious character is a new character, I might guess Hearts.
Xenoverse 2 takes its content from the anime, and less so from the manga. Not to mention Super Dragon Ball Heroes also has characters like Fu, Towa, and Mira.
Because SDBH has recently taken care of a huge arc with implications (the previous SKoT before Chronoa, a race of people killed by Lord Chilled), as well as characters of unknown origin (Hearts, Cumber, etc.), I think Xenoverse 2 making its own version of Heroes is the play here.

The vegeta god thing is most likely a mission based on battle of the gods but the problem with the timeline is that vegeta is there instead of goku.
the only characters I can think of being the hidden character in my opinion are Bardock,and Vegeta Black . Bardock has the wrist bands and the armor and since last time his whereabouts were unknown and no one knows what happened to him so he might be making a come back. now this is the one that I think might actually be the true answer because if you focus and turn the brightness up you can see the armor and it is very similar to Vegeta's Saiyan armor and also I noticed that he is doing the same hand pose as Goku black and not just looking at his hand. with the dark pink and purple aura also being the same as Goku Black. that's just my theory.

But that's unlikely, I doubt the game is tracking extra accumulated EXP...
Though it may very well be just tracking your total exp through a single variable for the levels, if that's so... you could likely expect a revived from dead x500 tier zenkai boost for all your characters...

I think it's ultra ego. I know they don't really touch manga but I feel like it lines up with the whole "look to the future" thing they're going for. But I know that might just be wishful thinking.

XV2 is as close to a live service game that you can get without it actually being a live service game. It has to be turning some kind of profit for them to keep it alive for as long as they have
